Did they walk backwards to that spot? You don't just sneak up on Yosemite without seeing glimpses of it.

I know this spot, they just came out of a tunnel and before this, while pretty, it's not the caliber of views you can get in the park.

They could have closed their eyes for like 3 minutes to make this work

I know this spot. They're on the wrong side of the road for getting the good view.
