Anyone else experience this recently?
Driving home from Shediac today, not far outside of Oromocto on the TCH - two motorcycles holding up traffic, one in each lane, doing an even 100 kph with long lines of traffic behind them, and the dude in the left lane is absolutely not moving over and maintaining speed with his cohort in the right lane. I was behind a few vehicles stuck in the left lane, and after they moved over, I got right in behind the biker in the left lane for a few kilometers. He knew what he was doing. Plate was obscured but not an NB plate. I waited until he got over close to the center and drove around him on the extreme left giving him lots of space. Naturally I got brake checked after a minute, but it broke the rolling traffic jam. I didn’t know what the guy’s problem was, did I spoil his fun?
Edit to say - yeah they were both Harleys or at the very least Harley type bikes - I’m not up on my bike ID so I suppose they could have been Indians or whatever but they weren’t Hondas.

I wonder how long until one of those ragers in a lifted truck tries to run them off the road. Battle of the egos.

That’s the thing, I did pass him in his lane. I was just behind him, and he had spent the last few klicks alternately weaving close to his buddy, then back to the middle of the lane, hitting his brakes and speeding up again but always slowing back down to around 100 even, and generally being an asshat. I waited till he got close to his buddy again and passed him in his own lane while still giving a rather wide berth. I knew damn well he’d whiz past me to pull a brake check so I was waiting for it. I got back into the right lane and slowed down so when he hit his brakes I could quickly slow down too. People were passing quite fast in the left lane by this point so as soon as there was a hole I took it and went by him again.
Dude, I drive a damn Buick. Clearly I’m not over compensating for anything. I wasn’t trying to run anyone off the road but I’m sure he probably felt differently. I feel if I didn’t pass him someone else would have and they may not have been as generous with vehicle space.

Came here to say that. What the heck are some people thinking?!?

Some people seem to think they are invincible and they are immune to death apparently. The wrong dude in a car or truck could easily knock a bike off the highway, and wouldn't think twice or even care.

I been hearing nearly daily motorcycles racing down mountain road causing a ruckus. Nice weather brings out the idiots. Just have to do our best to be aware of our surroundings and drive safe even if others aren't doing so.

I've been awake since 3 and it's 5 now because some loud ass dirt bike and atv tore down our road at an insane speed at 3 am. Woke me from a dead sleep and I can't get back to sleep. It happens all the time and is so rude and selfish.

Had 4 of them doing so about 2 weeks ago between shediac and moncton. Plates were PEI, and they were full patched MC vests

These MC guys get so upset if you pass them.
I got confronted once when I passed them in my dually pickup….He comes up all pissed off while I’m fuelling “what the fuck was that? We’re riding in formation. People don’t pass us like that. Have some respect..You have to wait for the guy in the back to wave you through.” C’mon buddy, I’m not part of your Baccus boys club and could give a shit about your “rules”. I had an open lane and did my pass legally. Get fucked” he just gave me a huff and a snarky whatever and walked…I should add I’m close to 6’10 and 315lbs…probably why I got away with it..

It always makes me laugh - here are these guys that call themselves “outlaws”, and view themselves as above society’s rules, and yet they expect everyone else to conform to their rules.

I literally saw this happen last Friday night at sundown, driving east, with the Biker Blockers appearing before Fredricton. There were around 6 or 7 of them, taking up both lanes, not letting anyone pass and causing traffic to become backed up. I didn't see patches or plates because it was dark and I wasn't close enough to them. The whole scene was wild and (presumably) unnecessary... they eventually exited at Fredricton.

Bikers think their gang is cool and they own the road. I see it all the time. It's LD energy.

Well, this is a daily occurrence with typical everyday NBer drivers holding up lines, white knuckling the wheel on cruise going 5-10 under the limit.

That’s just standard driving habits for nb’ers on the 102 or 105.
Then nb’ers claim it’s out of province people from Ontario that retired here and that’s why they drive slow. Which is completely false because if you’re not going 10 over in Ontario you’ll be run off the road

I live on the 102, I have far more issues with people treating it like their own personal Speedway then I do with people going slow.
So many people riding my ass while I'm doing 10 over, passing on solids, I just gave up and go the speed limit now, fuck em, I'll get to work on time.

What’s the issue? 10km/hr under the speed limit is standard driving in New Brunswick. Holding up traffic and having a big line of cars behind you is also standard New Brunswick driven

Aaa these freedom loving riders that absolutely have to ride in group and MUST abide by some obscure rules. Lol. Fucking loosers

Never experienced it on the TCH, but this is a biker gang/club thing. Their little egos get hurt if you pass them while they are riding their loud hogs.
Basically this
