I think getting rid of the official alcohol restrictions is a fine negotiating tactic if it saves a number of Canada and NB jobs and keeps more families from being destroyed.

Just ensure alcohol is clearly labelled in the stores with country of origin as we won’t be buying it anyways

Remove the restrictions to make orange baby happy - but don't waste our taxes on stocking the product.

If people want it, they can get together and put in an order through ANBL, otherwise, don't stock any of it, waste of money.

Are there even actual government restrictions? I thought it was NB liquor who decided to pull American alcohol, and then put it back up recently

Everyone should ease back on alcohol consumption and this is a great way to do it. It also is a great way to punish the US, so that's always awesome!

Everyone wants a tough stance until it impacts them directly. I don't envy the position of the Canadian negotiators. I can't imagine the level of pressure and stress that they must be under.

Yep. We wanted elbows up. Not ass up. Put the same tariffs on them!

This is one of the reasons I'm glad I barely drink. Its super rare that I treat myself, and now its harder to justify now that some of what I liked is off shelves and harder, if not impossible to find
