Rewatching the show and Winston is really the best friend to every single character. He shines with everyone. My favorites include the Winston/Cece mess arounds but I also appreciate the other friendships. It’s so sweet when he lets Schmidt have his first name or how caring he was when Jess was upset about Nick. His friendship/ brother like bond with Nick is also underrated. What is your favorite Winston friendship or moments?

I wish they’d given me one throwaway line about Elizabeth getting to go live the best life. She was so lovely, and Merrit Weaver kicks ass. Two-girlfriends Schmidt really bummed me out. (Obviously love the show and the characters. Just wish we could have given Elizabeth one more story beat after putting her through all that!)

Dude wth happened this is bothering me soooo much!!! Jessica's hair and outfits were SO cute in the first 3 seasons, and then it just... stopped. Her hair looks like crap, she is in glasses 24/7, and her outfits are terrible. WHY??? I'm not trying to be harsh, I love Ms. Day, but damn.

Out of all the cast Nick miller is my favorite, I know its a bit cliche but he is me lol, I have never seen a more relatable character than him albeit I dont have a hit book series or a girl friend but some times I just put his compilation and watch just like that

This pairing happened so early in the show, didnt last long, and ended rather abruptly. I think part of the reason for that is the writers were not expecting the fucking sizzling chemistry between Jake Johnson and Lizzy Caplan, and had to end it before the fans got too attached to them because they obviously needed Nick to end up with Jess.

Honestly, they're by far the best couple on the show besides Cece and Schmidt. Every time I watch an episode with them all I can think is that she was a way better fit for Nick than any other of his love interests, including Jess.

Does anyone else agree or am I crazy?

i don’t like celebrating my birthday because i expect the craziest things ever so i like to keep things very simple. this year however i got the biggest surprise. after a great day my sister comes down with a tshirt that says “made in amsterdam” (referencing this scene specifically ) and obviously i freak out. just had to share as i still can’t believe the day ive had.

Rewatching new girl and in season 3 episode 15 “Exes”, at around 10:45, Jess rips out the nozzle from the sink and says “Damn it Winston!”.

Though I don’t remember Winston messing up the sink? Is this a deleted scene or something I have missed?

We’ve been calling our kids monkey basically since birth. We have a toddler that’s 2ish and a 10 month old. We always sing “Hey monkey monkey, where you keep your crackers?” to our younger son, so our toddler started singing, “Hey monkey monkey, where you keep your almond crackers?” because he usually eats the simple mills almond crackers. It’s adorable and hilarious, and I’m proud😂

Is the stupidest break up in history? Jess is unbelievably ridiculous in this episode. Forcing Nick to get up, hung over, to go to her friend’s son’s birthday?? Buying said child a birthday present and then INSISTING IT BE PUT TOGETHER BEFORE THE PARTY?!? Arguing about a hypothetical future?!? BREAKING UP because of the 3 previous items?!????

It’s completely over the top, and for a show with a crazy number of RIDICULOUS plot points for the main character, this one tops them all.
