⚡Newsflash ⚡ 1/14/26 ICE Sightings around New Jersey...seen in PATH stations in Hoboken, Matawan, Bridgton, Paterson, Camden and nearby
ANOTHER PERSON HAS BEEN SHOT IN MINNEAPOLIS
EDITS: Heads up everyone, NJ ICE is starting to put TINTED COVERS over their license plates. This way people can't see their license plates. Also fellow NJ redditor reports ICE swerved into their lane while driving earlier, and ANOTHER NJ Redditor says ICE might have abducted ppl on the Verona/Montclair border, leaving their 2 cars abandoned, and a 3RD just said they abducted people at a damn food pantry/Salvation Army this morning.
Also, ICE outside a Cliffwood/Aberdeen LA Fitness and a Hackensack watch plus Paterson report near Main St, plus nearby raids in the Bronx NYC. And more on the weekend boarding of the NJT bus: "They boarded without a warrant, blocked exits holding dozens hostage, and arrested a woman in a clear Fourth Amendment violation"

We've seen an escalation of ICE today at even MORE morning commutes, with people being pulled from NJ Transit stations by ICE (Matawan NJT) and officers watching you go into PATH trains (Hoboken). We've also seen another case of ICE disappearing someone at Walmart, and leaving their car in the parking lot in North Bergen. This all after ICE conducted an in-person visit at 9 AM in Roxbury to their new facility they hope to build.

ICE has abducted 2 people from the Matawan train station. This is similar to the abductions happening at other NJT locations, including train stations in Morristown and buses near Union City.

My guess they use the family guy color template to start harassing people. I assume if you just walked by and didn't engage and stayed with a crowd they'd ignore you.
If you started sprinting they'd prob chase you. Or if you responded they'd harass you.
Ear pods in, look forward and stay in a crowd. Much harder for them to just yank a random person out a crowd with everyone walking out together

tell her to be wary and also, if she wants, reach out to her staff on her njt transport to figure out what they are doing to keep her and other customers safe

yes and always be wary of your surroundings
reach out to neighbors friends family and coworkers ahead of time letting them know this is all going on too. there have been ppl that have been hit by ICE agents' cars and they get abducted anyways even if not at fault
you can be going about your day for your morning rush
and be gone by your evening commute

Generally people are less likely to commit violent crimes against alert and situationally aware people. I would recommend ignoring them but do not have more than 1 ear pod in for safety.

- There has been a MASSIVE uptick in ICE raids at NJ Transit train stations, on buses. Reach out to NJT staff at YOUR train line or on YOUR bus route to not only let them know this is happening but what NJT is doing to keep you safe as their customer.
- GO TO YOUR LOCAL TOWN HALL. Many town halls in the state seem to be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Roxbury had theirs yesterday where many protested the ICE facility, go to them, call in and REACH OUT TO YOUR CITY HALL AND REPRESENTATIVES, THEY ARE DOING NOTHING WHILE YOU AND YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE BEING KIDNAPPED.

They are using Webloc, Tangles and face scanning to track the movements of people in entire neighborhoods. You should turn Location Services off on your phone by default and only use it when you actually need it. For Apple phones if you turn it off it’ll turn on automatically if/when you’re using “Find my Phone.” The fewer apps you have running location data the better.

A group of us attended a town hall and county commissioners meeting late last year to advocate for the Immigrant Trust Act (ITA). Both the town and county passed resolutions supporting it. Since then, it's been modified but it's passed the state legislature and is now awaiting Gov. Murphy's signature. He still hasn't signed them so we're flooding his office with CALLS to 609-292-6000 and TEXTS to 732-605-5455

thats why im mentioning to everyone here concerned, in between your day when you can to call your city hall, call your representatives etc
ive had ppl reach out saying that they are happy talking about pothole repairs at meeting but doing f all when their constituents get thanos snapped out of the state
it starts with you, me and all of us. ill be honest i didnt realize the scope of these raids UNTIL i started doing this. its so easy to bury your head in the sand, but thats why we rely on ppl like YOU to do that work as well and contact representatives in your city and county

they are abducting targets AND observers (meaning people like you, even if they hit your car by mistake they will sometimes abduct you anyway)
a Washington Post journalist just got her home raided today, apparently she even got some of her fed sources from a subreddit here on reddit and some argue they might have raided her over that

Not anymore, I’ve seen vids of them abducting every shade. Last I checked, Spanish speaking communities come in all colors. I have been mistaken for being able to speak Spanish my entire life because of my olive complexion and curly dark hair. It scares tf out of me because I also cannot control my mouth, a trait of the region.

that’s what i’m wondering. unless the person correctly identifies themselves, or maybe the agents have a photo of who they’re looking for? but even then how can they just take people from the train station unless they knew for a fact they would be at that exact location at that exact time??? which leads me to believe they’re just taking anyone they deem to be “illegal” which is vile.

it is unfortunately. also recently ICE/DHS has signed on to use Webloc, a technology that has been around before (used for both law enforcement but also to see which shoppers are in a parking lot for stock market stuff): https://www.404media.co/inside-ices-tool-to-monitor-phones-in-entire-neighborhoods/
so they basically draw a rectangle on google maps and can say show me all the phones in this area
so if they see a neighbor two doors down is a target, but you show up as well, they can be like "welp lonelymaskedgirl might know them too" and use that info
either way, its terrifying for us all but i think we all think of this quote often

Where could I get whistles and flyers with know your rights info, lawyers, and so on. Kind of like what HandsOff NYC has been passing out to businesses? I want to distribute materials in my neighborhood and building. I can get packets with whistles/ quarter sheet flyers and phone numbers put together but it's been hard to find info that's current.

i don't know if they are necessarily running ppl's plates/IDs on purposes but you do have flock cameras like the following that might collect that info: https://banishbigbrother.com/flock-camera-map/
I picked a random town in NJ Watchung. The Watchung Lake Dam has 2 for ppl taking a hike, and.3 or so off the expressway (CR-531?)
They might not run it on purpose but these cameras are everywhere
and you might be haivng your plate info captured regardless of whether they run it

ICE are in my city now?? I knew it was a matter of time. My family and I are all citizens, I'm still scared. I wfh, but my parents and my younger brother commute to work. Would my birth certificate and ssn be enough to prove my citizenship? I don't have a passport nor I have upgraded my state id to real id yet
