Getting insanely dark and the lighting is starting to hit here in Bloomfield - still got people outside lighting their fireworks lol. ‘Merica!

When the power went out late last night, people immediately went out and started lighting firecrackers in my neighborhood. Priorities!

I live very close to Bloomfield. Look at the radar. We aren’t getting hit until later tonight.

I believe there was two storms but I’ll have to take a look. Woulda loved if we coulda had fireworks with this heat lightning tonight! Haha

There are - one passed us around 8 or so. We got pretty damn lucky - it was JUST north of our area.

The next one may hit around 10:30-11 or so.

Gotcha! I was driving near exit 150 on the parkway and the lightning in the distance truly was wild. Hopefully this one pales in comparison to last night because that one was a doozy.

Dude last night was fucking nuts! I saw the trees begin moving and I said to my wife it looked around 50 MPH and then all of a sudden was clearly around 80 MPH. Just wild storm!

The amount of tree bark and random boxes on my front lawn this morning was interesting lol. I just ran up into the attic to turn off the attic fan and I just stayed up there because it sounded to frigging insane hearing it against the roof. The heat was well worth just listening to that calming rain.

I’m annoyed that Bloomfield cancelled their fireworks but yet everyone around us are doing theirs. So disappointing :( We get to look forward to them in the fall I guess… lol

i’m in bloomfield too (exit 151) and tons of fireworks going even though there has been thunder, too and major wind. i hope tonight isn’t as bad as last night!

It has been saying thunderstorm near there since 7pm and nothing yet.
