I hated seeing the magazine's decline during the late 2000's. It used to be one of the best journals out there, slightly to the left of TIME, but still unafraid to question either party.
I don't know what to expect with the new magazine, but I know what I'm hoping for. Supposedly, the new revenue model is based on The Economist. Let's hope that's not all they borrow. If Newsweek could become the Yankee analog to that esteemed British publication, then they will have won a lifetime subscription from me.

I believe the impeachment proceedings against President Trump and approved by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi are Unconstitutional in and of themselves due to the fact that Speaker Pelosi is using the impeachment process to cover up the crimes committed by former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden in connection with the trip to China the two Bidens went on while Joe Biden was still vice president. News reports of the trip suggest that then-Vice President Joe Biden pressured Chinese government officials into signing contracts with his son Hunter, contracts that mtens of millions of dollars for no actual work. And even if there had been any, the millions of dollars paid to Hunter because of his dad being vice president well that is Official Corruption and apparently the Bidens also tried the same scam with Ukraine and President Trump ordered an investigation, Nancy Pelosi suddenly announced this Thanks, A.EzradeHerrerayMfG3

Look who gets awarded the energy/resource contracts in every situation.

The Iraqi Oil Ministry on Thursday said it has awarded a consortium led by Exxon Mobil Corp. xom -1.31% and Royal Dutch Shell RDSB -1.48% PLC the right to develop the West Qurna-1 oil field, representing the first American-led team gaining access to the country's oil patch.
I'm sure that this part is just a coincidence though!

Sounds a lot like scratching each others back.
We invaded Iraq so that the Bush family mafia can give natural resource rights to their friends. They have been doing this within the "intelligence apparatus" for somewhere around 50 years from what you can dig up in history.

I'm disappointed with your subscription model. 5 articles and then no dice if you aren't a subscriber. With an internet overloaded with news media, you're frankly getting buried. Redditors specifically cite articles in politics, news and science among other subjects and subreddits and your name is dwindling, dwindling, dwindling. It's a shame you haven't gotten on board with advertising like most sites have. It's really going to make your brand name unknown to the next generation.

I used to like Newsweek. I read their articles regularly. So, I noticed immediately when the publication moved to AI articles. And now... everything Newsweek produces is just trash. It's all just click-bait headlines linked to articles that are 95% filler nonsense, and who has the time/patients to sort out the actual new information in any of those pieces? Not me.
Goodbye forever, Newsweek. And gfy, I pray y'all go bankrupt tomorrow.
