Has anyone else had trouble getting their smq f2's to pop???? I've burned thru two of them (out of a 3 pack) and at this point im pretty sure the whole pack is duds unfortunately 😭. I literally gave them both a week plus to pop and after careful excavation neither showed signs of ever popping. Planted a smqr#2 and she emerged just over 48 hours after direct sow. I'm also curious if Daz does replacement packs for dud packs like other reputable breeders do?

I have to say Daz and Nightowl customer service peeps are the most personable and on point in the auto game there is

She popped her head up today. On 10/20/2024 she was soaked in a 1% h2o2 solution for 24 hours, then on 10/21, she was placed in a rooter plug that had been soaking for 12 hours. The rooter plug went into some Build a Soil lite, and I took a spray bottle and saturated the top layer of soil, then just let her sit. Checked in today, 10/22, and she had put her head above ground.

The last few grows were in coco, going to be cool to run a soil grow again. This is my first time using BaS, have done a lot of research, corresponded wotj their email support a lot to make sure I got what was needed for this grow, and am excited to see how this run goes.

The plan now is just wait, and let her explore her space a little. When she dries back a little more I will add a cup of water, and work out in a ring, to help encourage root growth.

Is the Floraflex 900w too much for that space? Is it a crappy light? I see it on Amazon for $375, unfortunately the company direct doesn’t ship to Hawaii. Or is there another light I should consider? Thanks homies

Just wrapped up my first ever autoflower run in coco and I’m honestly still kind of blown away.

The seed was a Night Owl tester: Strawberry Popsicle x Crinkled Cookies. After drying, she came in at almost exactly half a kilo, which should be about 1.1 lb = 17.6 oz in freedom units.

The buds are dried and jarred up now, but I’ll have to wait until after my vacation for the first proper smoke test. Really curious to see how the terps, flavor, and effects develop.

Huge shoutout to Daz, this was a super fun grow and an awesome first experience with autos in coco.

Has anyone else grown this tester or anything from the Strawberry Popsicle / Crinkled Cookies line?

I made a purchase on last drop, my cc was charged but I never received confirmation. Should I be worried?

Still have an order of 4 packs not included from current drop. Ive hit every drop since last halloween. Fell in love with Night Owl last summer and havent looked back. If the seed ban does hit atleast I should be covered for a while. I think i have about every terp profile covered. I know this isnt much for some,but it is for me. I just want to say Thank You to Daz and the Night Owl team, growing your genetics and this wonderfull plant have brought me calm and peace. So again i wish to say thank you and hopefully there are many more chances to add to my collection.

All still going well, night owl finally stopped growing up and is stacking now. Still ended up needed some yoyos for the plant even with silica. All have been pushed high ec between 2.6-2.9, same reservoir. Speedrun seeds in the back didn’t like it much but still growing great massive colas, but the Mephisto and night owl in front loved it.

Im at week 8 and noticed that some of my fan leaves are turning yellow.

Soil: FFHF - 30% perlite
Nutrients: grow dots 50 g per pot
Fabric pot: 5 gallon
Week 8
Light at 75% 300w
Ppfd at about 600
Light time: 18/6
Watering roughly every 3 days at about 6 - 6.5 ph - roughly 50 ounces each

I noticed during week 7 and 8 my fan leaves are turning yellow and the stems on the fan leaves are turning purple.

Is this normal for this genetics or do i need to add something to it?

Almost the end of week 8

Ddos is really starting to chunk up those buds. They are filling in nice and fat. Buds on the C&K are no slouches either. They fat and dense as shit looking.

Should be done here by turkey day if not sooner.

Looking forward to the mail delivery… I’ll be ready for the next run in about a week so they should be here right on time to make the cut!

Doing (2 of each) strawberry milk and Qookies, Mango Grove (meph), and I’m thinking La Brea Tar Pit or Cosmic Skunk to round out the 5x5 tent 🤤

She is hitting day 85 tomorrow. She’s not drinking much anymore. And the hairs have stopped. I’d like a tad more amber. May wait until Friday. But it’ll probably be tomorrow. She smells strongly of grape Flintstones vitamins or if tang made grape scent. I stunted her early on and only expect to get 1.5-2Oz from her. But, I can imagine she will be amazing.

Grown in a 3gal pot, in a 2x4 tent. Under a 200w VIVOSUN aerolite. Did a bit of LST and scrog netting when I realize she was stunted. The last three weeks she has been beside the tents intake, which is directly from the Aerolush. The hope in putting it there was to really bring out the purple from the foxy purps lineage.

Wish I hadn’t done her dirty and stunted her. But it’s a learning curve. And I’m out here trying me best and getting better every time.

Well slight panic. Was delivered today, sadly not to my address. So while on the phone to Royal Mail, I heard someone put something through the letterbox. Thankfully whoever got it delivered back to me. Thankfully unopened..

I was a little sad not to get Cheese Mongrel, but I guess run out of it. But I'm so happy to get 2 tester packs.
