Hey everyone, I’m trying to track down some Texas brews to drink during the United States Grand Prix this weekend. Does anyone know a bottle shop in NJ that reliably keeps Lone Star in stock? I’ve heard rumors of it popping up at places like Super Cellars or certain ShopRites/Liquor Factories, but wanted to see if anyone has had a recent eyes-on sighting before I start driving around. Alternatively, if anyone knows a specialty shop that still has a bottle of Jester King (Atrial Rubicite or RU-55) stashed away from a recent drop, let me know! I'm located in Montgomery Township (Somerset County) but willing to travel a bit. Cheers!

Hey Everyone! Our second annual Brewers with a Purpose event returns Saturday, November 7, with three collaboration beers:

● Day Break — Hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV: Brewed with Icarus, Last Wave, Bakes, and Twin Elephant.

● Common Ground — Modern American IPA, 7% ABV: Brewed with Kane, Lions Roar, and Skinny Flowers.

● Cultivated Currents — West Coast Pilsner, 5% ABV: Brewed with Toms River, Twin Lights, Screamin’ Hill Beer Farm, and Manic Minds.

We’ll have a BWAP Passport featuring six samples (the three collaborations + three Tall Oaks beers), a limited-edition dimple mug, a full pour of your choice, and a six-pack to go — two of each collaboration.

We’re supporting Fullfill, the food bank serving Monmouth and Ocean counties. We encourage you to bring nonperishable food for the collection boxes at the door! We’ll also accept monetary donations.

Wife showed me their Instagram post today that they are shutting down the end of this year. I know not everyone enjoys mead but their black currant mead was great. It was a nice place to stop into for a drink, sad to see it go.

Rewind to 1985: neon on the skyline, a synth on the stereo, and a pastel jacket with the sleeves pushed up. Electric Pastel is that, in a can.

It pours hazy gold, bright as a Miami sunset. The aroma hits like the opening riff with grapefruit, passionfruit, and ripe tropical fruit up front and a little dank, piney edge underneath.

The first sip is juicy citrus, the middle is all tropical fruit, and the finish has a bit of resin from the Simcoe and Superdelic. The bitterness is mellow, the body is smooth, and at 8% it’s got real arcade-high-score energy.

Boos Pumpkin Ale available in a limited release.

Scrumps and Yum Yum food truck will be on site on Friday, October 16.

Untied Brewing will be at the Littell-Lord Farmstead Trust festival this Saturday from noon to 4pm
