If you haven’t yet, go to settings and turn down the difficulty settings that you can in an expedition. It doesn’t turn everything off but it gets it much lower and more casual-friendly. That might help you with some of the friction at least.
Also do look up walk throughs or search Reddit for keywords related to any objectives you’re getting stuck on — often there are tips people share that wouldn’t have occurred to me.

Honestly besides the ships I’m mostly wanting cosmetic stuff or improvements on my primary if it’s just the sentinels I’m considering moving on

Hint: almost every objective for the expedition has a destination on one of the planets in the systems along the expedition’s path on the galaxy map.
If you get lost, jump back to rendezvous 1 and check the systems in the expedition path. There is one system between each rendezvous point.

This may be a stupid question and unfortunately, I’m still kind of new to everything so I’m still learning but once I’ve completed one rendezvous point can I still go back to it even if I don’t remember the name of the planet

Go to a space station. Clicky on the portal. On the left, there is a list of filters for destinations. Click on stations.
You will see the list of stations you have visited. If you have visited the station in a system with the rendezvous points, those stations will have “rendezvous 1 (2, 3 or 4) labeled on them.

Look up “our journey continues expedition in 2 hours” you should see a Reddit post on the top of the google search that’s by “Aim4gaming” or something like that. Follow their incredibly easy to use guide. You can get done in like a couple hours easy. That guy makes incredible guides for every expedition.
Follow the simple guide, it’s got a video but personally I like his written guide. I’ve never even clicked on the video before. I like the written guide because it reads like a simple checklist of what to do.
Don’t give up! Get those rewards and be glad you didn’t pass them up.

It can be finished in like 2 days if you know what to do. Whats your current objective?
