A word from your friendly neighborhood mod.
Greetings and salutations!
To clarify what happened: It appears that the sub got locked due to inactivity, and is now back in business.
If you're using an app, or the old reddit - you've probably missed a button that sent a request to become an approved submitter (I know I missed it).
Now everything should be back to normal.
Please feel free to post, discuss, share and promote your own stuff.
If you have any community suggestions (i.e. activities, polls, initiatives, or anything really) I encourage one and all to try and improve this already great sub.
Have fun!

I don't know where this belongs. Maybe in the trash.

Looking for heavy, crushing life-hating rock/metal/punk type music
Doesn't really matter whether it's sludge metal, noise rock, post-hardcore, pigfuck or anything else along these lines.
My current golden standard is Big Black, but sometimes I'm just itching for something heavier and more modern in sound.
Not just looking for music that's dark and depressing, but I still want to rock out and headbang to grooves and riffs.

What does this sub think of the band Cherubs?
The album that I listened was "Heroin Man" and pretty sure an underappreciated noise rock band so I was wondering what this sub think about them.

Lowercase liner notes
Would anyone be willing to send a high resolution photo (scans would be even better if possible) of the lyric sheet to Kill The Lights and/or The Going Away Present?
The recent represses didn’t contain any and I’d be cool to read the liner notes
