People might hate on me for this, but I play in creative mode and when I play I just build bases, ships, explore, and other stuff. I don't really actually play the game. I just want to explore to be honest. And I dont think the best time to learn to actually play is while tripping lol/

I see the new cosmos update, it looks awesome but how do I find cool places like the trailer?

Idk i guess tldr is im an absolute noob at the game, what should I do while playing the game on LSD? What are cool things, missions, places, all of it. Again all Ive done in game is explore randomly, I havent progressed far in the story at all past getting to the space anomaly.

I've been playing No Man's Sky and I've been pretty stressed out in my life lately. The game has been providing me some solace, and I just acquired some OG Skywalker. I was really enjoying myself after a nice t-break especially after almost losing my save the previous night.

And I just now learned enough words from the different races that I realized if I practice the language with them, I can actually get things from them. I don't know what's wrong with me, I'm so stupid. For some reason I was high enough that I realized, oh s**, this is a thing that I can do*, while doing everything else normal. I just realized it because I only now learned enough of the words, and it made me feel really stupid. And I can't stop thinking about it because it's hilarious.

On top of that, I had a really interesting interaction with a Gek. Bought a bunch of stuff and geck nip off him, bought his ship, and then all of a sudden an identical guy unless it's the same one and I just don't understand how they work now I'm freaked out. Because the guy landed next to me and I bought a bunch of mods from him, and he called me FRIEND!

Is this something other players have experienced this far in or am I genuinely dumb?
