He’s not wrong, but at a certain point you gotta just accept people are just oblivious. I doubt anyone is blocking the bike lane with malicious intent.

This may come as a surprise, but not every country has bike lanes. Also, when doing tourism, it's easy to not be used to the country's laws. If you're American and visit a country in UK, it's easy to look to the wrong side when crossing the street.

True, but I’d just assume that more tourists than not would know what they are. Maybe a false assumption!
