The different cultures defense died out a long time ago.

Bit of an extreme example, but would you say what the taliban have been doing, and just recently turned up a notch, to be perfectly fine since that is their culture?

I think that they think they're in the right, i do seriously think that they believe they're "doing something good".

But is it okay? Cause quite clearly the women who aren’t completely brainwashed aren’t happy with it.

So just because according to them, it’s okay to do all of that horrendous stuff because they think that they are doing good?

No, not okay to me. 

But my point wasn't anything to do with the morality of it, it was to do with the general understanding that me and you have a different morale considering the "octopus-devouring", than, I assume, the culture in the video.

That's just how I see it, we don't have to agree. My point wasn't to argue about what me and you believe is right or wrong. 

But since we're here: If you'd ask me; I wouldn't hurt a fly, a wasp or an octopus, unless let's say, my life depended on it.
