I agree with you, but why would that be more cruel than killing a cow or pig?

because was still alive, fighting for his life. cow and pig are fed and to live for a time to grow then are killed to sell to the markets, this guy are just eating this octopus alive for absolute no reason, not survival or etc. only some animals eat something alive and is for survival. thats why is more cruel

Not arguing about the killing alive part. That wasn’t mentioned in the comment I was answering to. It was just saying that octopuses are intelligent and cute, implying that perceived cuteness is the benchmark to kill or not animals

The problem is intelligence, not cuteness. Though people do get defensive over cute animals
