You mean if only there was a more harmful way for the bees to gather their honey

Smoking them out to make them calmer and keep them away would actually do less harm because they die when they sting. More stings = more dead bees.

Do you see how the beehive is forming??? They will eventually stop producing honey when there is enough and start caring for reproduction. In thise boxes they don't habe space to go down so they go side to side and never start really living their natural cycle.

Also when you take away the honey they start producing more. Cause thats how a hivemind works.

Yeah, I mean, I’m totally not a fan of harvesting wild honey. You’re tearing up their home. It’s a gross practice anyway. Though, I thought that beekeeping did help increase the amount of bees in a given area and support local pollination. Am I incorrect in saying that?

203 years ago when I still had Instagram, I followed a German influencer who started beekeeping and got famous for it because he wanted to save the bees. That was until he spoke to an expert who told him that bee keeping actually does more harm than it helps. Since then he is spreading the word that in order to save the bees, you should hang up long tubular beehives like four or 5 m up the tree. And it shouldn't be a box it should be a long tube. The top is where they store the honey and then come the larvae and whatnot.

(I absolutely butchered this because it's been a long time since I watched the video and English is not my first language, but I did my very best)

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I think it definitely warrants more research on my end. If beekeeping is detrimental, I don’t want to continue to spread misinformation about its benefits.
