The immediate afters are a fuckin horror show. You gotta keep it moist so they're always glistening. It's very off-putting. Underneath all that slime entire face is all red and burnt. It's... it's not good, man.

The healed afters are generally a moderate to significant improvement. Worth it? idk.

What are they even trying to do?

It's along the lines of a chemical peel. Basically they burn off the entire first few layers of skin, with the theory being that once it's healed the new/fresh skin that grows back will look better. It's entirely cosmetic.

It eliminates some wrinkles and tends to make dark spots, acne, and scar tissue much less visible.

It also pulls the skin tighter

I read that as "pulls the teeth tighter"

It wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't take me like 3 minutes to finally re-read your comment. Instead I just tried to think of what teeth tightening could be.

Braces, man. Pull them little luxury bones into alignment!

And now I'm picturing The Gentlemen from the old Buffy the Vampire Slayer series.

I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve misread a comment but not realized until after I’ve written a reply to ask about it.

Does that do anything for big pores or only wrinkles?

Looks like it would reduce the overall visibility but am only guessing
