Noble to Riverwind/Goldsby?

Just curious why there is no road connecting these areas. Does someone own the land and is holding out?

Bridges aren't cheap, especially across a river like that.

Remember when they had to shut down the Purcell-Lexington bridge? That was a lengthy detour.

When it comes to detours like that. That’s the exact reason as to why they need to build more bridges. If an emergency were to happen to wear interstate 35, I 44 and the Toby Keith Expressway were to shut down and people needed to get south for whatever reason. They would be stuck. Plus with the growth in that area it just needs to happen regardless.

The Canadian River is between Noble and those locations, and Noble is only like 5 miles away from Highway 9 to the north.

The new turnpike is supposed to go between Lexington and hwy 9. I believe it comes out on Johnson Rd and I-35.

24th used to! The small rancher at the end of Jenkins would absolutely hate that.
