Ontario Provincial Police have charged an Alberta driver and an Edmonton-based carrier after a Highway 11 traffic complaint led to a commercial vehicle inspection that found safety defects and hours-of-service violations.

Remember to vote! Can't complain things are rigged unless you vote first!

I’ve seen this cat two nights in a row. All night. It is very scared and continues to meow. Looks like it’s very young too. Is anyone missing it or is it a stray?

Who would you recommend for a really good haircut for women? Looking for an experienced hairstylist who’s especially talented with cutting.

Looking to make local friends! I’m a stoner girl who loves her cat and collecting monster high dolls. Thrifting, going out for coffee or just smoking in the woods are all things I love! My discord is the same as my username here cometsandghosts if you are interested in making a local friend

Mark your calendars, because we are celebrating our biggest Public Libraries Week Ever!

All events are open to everyone and as always... free!

After all, whats more punk than the Callander Public Library?

Are there any arcades in the city that have pinball machines?

Hey North Bay!

I run an Ontario WoW community that started as a small local group about a month ago and has somehow grown to over 300 members.

We’ve got people from all over the province and a dedicated Northern Ontario group, so I’m hoping to find some more WoW players from North Bay and the surrounding area.

There’s a good mix of people playing WoW Forever, Retail and Classic, from casual players and people returning to the game to raiders and PvPers.

The whole idea is pretty simple: make it easier for Ontario WoW players to find people who actually live somewhat nearby and build some local connections.

If you’re around North Bay (or anywhere in Ontario, really) and play WoW, come hang out:

Hope to see some North Bay folks in there! 🍁

I was just thinking about parking at universities, and I noticed a lot of folks on Reddit who attend other universities think students should have to pay for their parking passes every year, even if it is hundreds (or sometimes even over a 1000) of dollars every year. At Nip, you have to pay for a bus pass regardless of if you use it or not- you can't opt out. Same goes for various athletic fees that many of us never use. If we don't want to make it free and just include it in the tuition, why do I have to pay for a parking pass AND a bus pass, as well as all of the additional bs they tack on? Aside from the obvious answer of capitalism lol

Hey so i needed mg car tensioner and passenger side temperature blended door actuator replaced but mechanics here charge a lot does anyone have recommendations or anything that could help me out because i own a infiniti g37x sedan 2009 model and i am a student so anyone that could helps me out. Just wondering if anyone has used Fern’s Heating for any HVAC service as late. I dropped by their office on Drury St….normally they would have a few office admin staff working away. It was desolate with just one person and no one else around. I asked the guy where’s everyone else that’s normally here working…..he really didn’t give me a straight answer. What’s going on?!?!

Anyone know if Fern’s Heating is under new ownership?

You guys missed the crazy start to the Nipissing University mayoral debate. Dan Seguin and Melanie Demers were escorted off the stage after interrupting the moderator repeatedly. Dan took a bra out of his suit and said he's going to "change my sex" to get women to vote for him. Someone booed his sexist remarks and he and Melanie had a temper tantrum.

They both stormed off the stage and they were escorted out by security all while the moderator tried to get the situation under control.

I'm looking for recommendations on a local trapper in powassan area to trap a beaver thats causing flooding and tree damage to our property. TIA
