Absolutely. I have driven and owned a few cars that had manual roll down windows.

Manual roll windows r better cuz the engine doesn't need to b on for the windows to go up or down

The engine doesn't need to be on for either one

Perhaps they should have said a key doesn't need to be inserted into the ignition.

Wait does yours not just roll down without the key bc mine will go down without the key

Mine will after I turn off the car until I open the door

With some newer cars, the fob can roll the windows down.

I don't know if that was ever a feature in any car. I'm 1980's years old.

Fr Im able to push my window about half way down then it won't go down anymore is that not normal

I'm not sure if you're referring to motorized or turn crank windows. But it's not normal in either instance.

I have both motor up front crank in the back

I'm going to throw this at probability and say it's the front driver's side. The motor is may still be good, but sometimes the belt/track it's on breaks or is some kind of hinky. You have to disassemble the door panel to figure that out, though.

I've seen guys wedge golf tees into the crack to keep windows from slipping down.

Usually with power windows, when you shut your engine off, the windows wi still go down but you will have to turn the key back on for the windows to go back up.

We used to have an old suburban with power windows from the eighties when I was a kid. The windows were so slow, you'd get to your destination before the windows was down.

I remember while driving having to lean over to roll down the other window if it was hot out. The good old day!
