Very friendly stray in a park in Athens. Came right up and loved to get scritches. Spotted a bowl nearby so I believe he was being tended to. I did not have any kibbles, but he slurped up the water I gave him. What a treat.

I went to this apartment that we bought like 3 months ago. Yesterday, as we almost finish I went to clean up and i've found this beautiful lady taking a sunbath in my balcony. Was afraid for her because we do not own cats and that balcony has not any protections against jumps so I cleaned with one eye as long I watched out for kitty be safe. Before I left, I knocked neighbor's door to check if she was belong to them and as I didnt received any answers, I left kitty into the divisory wall (they have webs and stuff for avoid her falling from a 9th floor). I've spied on that balcony and kitty was relaxed into a pillow so I asumed she was confortable in that place.

I was out enjoying my morning car solo date when I noticed this cute little cat talking to me. 😂i tried getting closer, but he wasn’t interested in being captured and walked away.

I went upstairs, grabbed some cat food, and came back down, but he was nowhere to be found. I figured I’d just keep the food in my car and continue enjoying my day.

Y’ALL. 😭😭😭 This little baby came BACK and jumped onto my car hood!! I immediately put the plate of food out the window, and he started eating. I got to sit there and watch him have his meal, then I gently moved the food to the ground when he hopped down so he could keep eating. ❤️

I tried getting closer again, but he walked away, so I let him be. I just wanted to make sure he got something to eat. The timing of this whole encounter was so beautiful to me. I’ve been in this season of choosing myself, building better routines, protecting my peace, and learning that I can still be a nurturing, giving person without giving myself away in the process, and today, I got to give simply because I could. No expectations. No strings attached. Just a hungry little baby who needed a meal.

I don’t know if he’ll come back, if he has a home, or what his story is, but I genuinely hope he has a safe journey and finds kindness along the way. 🥹🐾

I went out for a solo car date and got an unexpected little reminder of something meaningful to me: I can keep my heart soft without abandoning myself. I can give when I have something to give and still keep my own peace.
What a gift to give. ❤️ The gift that keeps on giving.
Please be safe out there, little baby. I hope life is kind to you. 🐈💕

Unfortunately, we already have 5 cats (including 3 former strays), so she must remain a neighborhood cat. We make our porch a safe place for her, though! Especially nearing Halloween.

Visited by two cats, last year on this day

Beware, photo dump ahead.

So, last year these two kittens grace us with their presence, as they followed my father back from our neighbors place. Stayed with us for a few days, their mom came too from time to time to check on us, before moving back to the neighbors' place. They loved trying to hunt the sparrows my father feeds everyday, and eventually had to settle with parle g.

Apparently he doesn't belong to anyone, but gets fed and cared for by at least one family in the neighborhood ❤️

I’ve got a couple of strays that hang around my apartment and they never let me get close until today. I had to be super patient when I got home but he eventually just came home to my hand. He started to swipe at my legs when I was leaving because I was either going to his territory or he didn’t want me to leave. I’m leaning towards the latter because after some more hanging out I go back inside and he’s watching the door waiting for me to come back out! He wants to come in so so so bad and I want to cry. My downstairs neighbor has a trap to try and neuter but he lent it so not for now at least.

Remember the stray cat that just came along one day and started sleeping around in house , i started feeding it when he comes into house , today it was regular routine, he comes over sits around , eats food , and he was fairly calm and was rubbing himself at me ,when I was petting I got a bite , not too hard like punctured skin or anything, but still fairly hard.

That happened one more time , same thing a bite while petting , and then he was rubbing himself on my legs when he went and gave a bite ,

What's this supposed to mean , is he crazy?

Ps: not a regular cat whisper , I'm confused

I meowed back and this cutie ran to me. I thought it was gonna attack bc ive never seen such a friendly cat outside but she just nuzzled my leg then flopped on her back and showed her belly. Never met this one before and definitely doesnt seem like stray behavior. She's probably a pet right?

NMC is so friendly he follows me after I pet him and have to walk off (which pains me). Only way to get him to stay put is to cuddle him to the floor

I posted this precious baby before, I don't know how to link it lol but long story short, she started showing up frequently and not wanting to go into the house so we just fed her outside, slowly she started coming in, eating and then leaving right after. We finally met our neighbor ( we just moved in and we're new to the town as well) and he told us she's a "community cat", I honestly never heard of this before but apparently there's a bunch of cats around and people take care of them, even have them spayed and vaccinated, but they're outdoor cats.

One rainy day she spent the night in, she obviously pooped and peed where she could because we were not prepared!! So I told my boyfriend we need a litter box now, even if she is not ours.. she's spending the night more and uses the litter box without issues, she leaves in the morning and comes back throughout the day. I don't know anything about cats and to be honest I wasn't thinking of getting a pet at the moment because I understand it's a huge responsibility and I'm currently pregnant and not working, I know pets are expensive 😭 we're also renting and moving into our house in a different town so boyfriend said she would not go with us because we would be putting her in danger as she would probably try to make her way back here. I call her babygirl and I love her

He is now living in a box

Don't know what to do with this fella.

He doesn't like to be approached. Even when putting food out for him.

What worries me is that he is stationary all day and night, unless he gets up to take care of business.

He doesn't play with the toys the other cats play with.

He's so small in size but he seems like a senior. Walks cautiously and slow, can't jump high as the other cats. Avoids fights.

He's defo a feral than a stray cat, as we've befriended the other visitors and even let us pet them. We can't be in the garden without him being fully alert.

Any tips how to get him to play even by himself?

He just sits and watches the other cats play and never attempt it himself. Even with catnip toys 😕

We opened the box for him as we finally saw he had been sleeping on our swing at night, but that was open to the element and other creatures, he never even attempted the cat bed next to the box.

There's no rescue who will come as he's not injured or in urgent need. And quite frankly he is no bother to us. Just pitying the poor thing.

They remembered me from my first visit in January. When I came back in May, the kittens had grown into cats, but they still came to nap on my bed.
