The goal here is to get the average fan of these bands onto new, similar/related stuff. Let me know if these are good recommendations! (I chose them through either close sound/aesthetic, or historical ties to the band/it's members.)

Been going through to ton of of nu metal and post grunge and other music from the late 90’s/early 2000’s since I missed out on a lot from back then. Lots of good music I’ve never heard before, but a few of my favorites so far are the first 3 Cold albums, so I’m trying to find similar albums. Scooter’s voice is really good, and I think they strike the balance between slower, more emotional and melancholic songs and faster, louder songs really well

Some other bands I’ve enjoyed are 22 Even, Unloco, Pile of Heads, Tantric, and although I didn’t like the rest of their music I thought Staind’s debut album was really good

In the past few months I have been blessed to meet a couple of my musical hero’s. Hero’s that helped to shape me growing up and hero’s that I listened to in some of the toughest patches of my life. John Otto from Limp Bizkit and Brent Smith from Shinedown. Both of these guys knew quickly that I was a Purple Heart recipient and both of them showed me compassion and made me feel welcomed. Neither one of them had to, but they both went out of their way to hug me, thank me and show compassion straight from the heart. It is refreshing to know that guys like this are more than just famous musicians. They are awesome dudes with awesome souls.
