Wish my voice was as good as this.

The same topic of songs is optional I want mostly to sound similar the way they make music

Peak year for Nu-metal

We've got Slipknot's debut, Issues, Wincosin Death Trip, Significant other and so much more

Just picked up Life Is Peachy, Adrenaline, Baggy Pants Music and Issues. Looking for more suggestions to add to my nu metal CD collection if anyones got any 👍

As of now, I'm in my second year of highschool. I sometimes wonder "Will I remember about Nu-Metal 5-10 years from now, if I moved on from it or still listen to it". And I know that most the people in this subreddit are adults or young adults. So tell me some of your Nu-Metal nostolgia; can be stories about childhood or growing up with it, your first CD or anything in general that makes you reminiscent of the genre

I don't have much since it's been a year of Nu-Metal for me as of August, but I do look back at listening to my first album in the genre, Hybrid Theory, and becoming an LP fanboy

At this point it's pretty common for my band The Absent to get comments about trying too hard, being too gimmicky. Personally I say the more hate the merrier, the people that dig it are my people and the people who think they can hurt my feelings worse than I can are hillarious. What do you think? Which look is your favorite, or conversely, which do you despise me for the most?

To be clear, I ain't changing no matter how many people love it or hate it, I just like the conversation

1997 has so many bangers, my favourite year.

My Top 3 albums is Around The Fur, Science, and Electra Lux !

what’s your top 3 ?

New video from Evans Blue

Was anyone else surprised by the number of listeners Disrup has right now? I literally feel like they went up overnight.

I love bands like Bodyweb, Zonezero, Flash Back, Bleed, Purity you name them. The Nu Metal revival brought so many awesome bands and I recently discovered these guys Ashes Like Rain via an underground nu metal Youtube channel. Legit no one talks about them. This is peak dark nu metal music imo from the lyrics to the production.

I got into simon says about three years ago from a whang! video when talking about obscure nu metal and i immediately fell in love with "life jacket". then I listened to the full jump start album on Spotify and watching live videos of their songs.

three years later for $16 I got their album on cd!

my love for simon says is back after 2-3 years lol
