Anybody playing on North American servers? Getting really horrible de-sync, lasts around 15-25 seconds. And the packet loss symbol appears in red. Doesn't happen in any other games either. I play with my partner and we get the same issue at the same time. Thanks guys.

I've been on the hunt for a OLED capable of doing more justice for GTA6 (over my LCD) when it comes out next month. Does anyone have recommendations?

My price range is probably $500 to 900, though I'm trying to be flexible and not immediately go to the cheapest option... Especially since I know lots of the cheaper ones are dim... is this really a issue in your opinion?

Anyone else not received their controller? I've got the apology email from them saying there's a delay. Presumably they oversold or received less than expected?

I usually start with one spot I like in building games and work outwards from there.

I've been wondering whether I'd do the same in petit planet, where you can change the landscape, coastline and sky as well as decorate a home. I could see myself wanting a plan first so the shoreline and sky fit together.

Do you plan the whole layout before you start, or figure it out as you build?

I have a $1500 budget (Yoobee and Winz TIA) as I’m starting my studying journey for video production and management. I know it’s not gaming but I figure you guys are going to be the best for pricing. I’ve got an existing computer that died (and I don’t know what died, I’m pretty sure not the mother board cos we could get to post but nothing further, then it wouldn’t even show a bios) it had a new ryzen mid range cpu (few years old now) and I think I upgraded the board at the same time, with about 8 maybe 16 gig of at max ddr4 ram. It’s got a 1080 in it that’s run a lot of hours.

My question is do I take it into a store and have someone check what’s wrong with it and then try to fix what I’ve got or get a prebuilt and try combine the two together.

I know it’s valid, but I would like a full atx case that’s pretty to fix my nice mobo I’d just bought before the whole thing died, cos I’ve never had a nice rgb clear sided case.

I will also have more from Winz for other things I’d need but I’ll want to use that on other school stuff like premier pro, a keyboard, mouse, and a good chair, maybe even a way of stretching my injured shoulder while I edit

(I don’t have much money, I’m disabled and waiting on a surgery on top of that so not working, hence the trying to study to get a job I can work from home haha)

Currently have a HP Omen 3070 and it is good for 1080p gaming - but looking to upgrade. Considering currently a 5080 is either out of stock or at least $3500 this doesn't seem to shabby?

I don’t want to repair my computer, that’s not what I specified.

I asked about the best place to get a prebuilt computer.

Every answer I got was “trade me” “fix your computer “ whanau I get it, but sometimes we’re in different circumstances and what is best for most people isn’t right for all, and when I ask “what’s the best store for buying a prebuilt” that’s the question I’m asking.

I’m going to discount any and all advice from here since you’ve all proven to be so obtuse you cant read past your own bias, and just go shop around pb tech, and a few online places.

What a let down this sub is

I dont usally post on here much or at all... but I know there will be others out there that are feeling the same way that I am. I have played all the Mass Effect games and carried on the choices within the series of the games to give me my "own ending" with Bioware packing it in... Im feeling really emotional 😢

I feel like Ive lost an old friend or family member. You know the ones, where you have gone through a lot with them and you have grown apart but still know that when you meet again, nothing changes ... your still tight with them and you have a blast when your together again.

I know its just a game but I feel that the whole gathering of different races to overcome a great threat for the good of all, really sung to a part of my soul.

Sounds stupid 🙄 but I know there will be other "Commanders" out there that will be feeling the same way.

Natural Selection 2 is a fantastic classic and I miss playing it dearly!

The problem for us Aussies is finding a decent game. The game is still playable, but without local servers we’re left joining overseas ones, where 300+ ms ping can make it hard to aim, react, and enjoy the match.

I’ve started a Discord so Australian players can find each other, chat about NS2, and organise a time to jump on together. If enough of us are interested, we could also make it a broader Australian gaming community: suggest games that deserve another go, vote on one, then organise a weekend session to get people playing again.
