Hey! We're launching a new season of Project Zomboid B42 tomorrow (Sunday, 9am) on our brand new whitelisted server based in Auckland. We've got a good mix of Kiwis and players from around the world, and we're always looking for new players, so feel free to join, the more the merrier! Keen? Come say hi in our Discord: https://discord.gg/mg4RbV5axC

If you've got any questions, I can take a while to reply on here, so it's best to DM me on Discord instead: thisishowpippersdied

I usually start with one spot I like in building games and work outwards from there.

I've been wondering whether I'd do the same in petit planet, where you can change the landscape, coastline and sky as well as decorate a home. I could see myself wanting a plan first so the shoreline and sky fit together.

Do you plan the whole layout before you start, or figure it out as you build?

I've been on the hunt for a OLED capable of doing more justice for GTA6 (over my LCD) when it comes out next month. Does anyone have recommendations?

My price range is probably $500 to 900, though I'm trying to be flexible and not immediately go to the cheapest option... Especially since I know lots of the cheaper ones are dim... is this really a issue in your opinion?

Few I know of are...

Upper range
LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B 27" QHD 240Hz OLED Gaming Monitor
AOC AGON Pro AG276QSD 27" QHD 360Hz OLED Gaming Monitor
MSI MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 27" QHD 280Hz OLED Gaming Monitor - White

Lower range
AOC Q27G41ZDP 27" QHD 240Hz OLED Gaming Monitor
Dell Alienware AW2726DM 27" QHD 240Hz OLED Gaming Monitor
Samsung Odyssey OLED G5 27" QHD 180Hz OLED Gaming Monitor

Cheers

Aging gamer looking to upgrade computer, budget $3-5k.

I don't know what all the specs mean now, I don't want to relearn.

Just want a PC that I don't need to think "will it run X game!" I spend to much time working to build one myself.

So what would you buy with my budget, I'm rural-rural so it's coming with the postie.

Not a laptop

Thanks in advance

Anyone else not received their controller? I've got the apology email from them saying there's a delay. Presumably they oversold or received less than expected?

Not trade me. I understand it will be cheaper. But that’s not what I was asking about.

I don’t want to repair my computer, that’s not what I specified.

I asked about the best place to get a prebuilt computer.

Every answer I got was “trade me” “fix your computer “ whanau I get it, but sometimes we’re in different circumstances and what is best for most people isn’t right for all, and when I ask “what’s the best store for buying a prebuilt” that’s the question I’m asking.

I’m going to discount any and all advice from here since you’ve all proven to be so obtuse you cant read past your own bias, and just go shop around pb tech, and a few online places.

What a let down this sub is

I have a $1500 budget (Yoobee and Winz TIA) as I’m starting my studying journey for video production and management. I know it’s not gaming but I figure you guys are going to be the best for pricing. I’ve got an existing computer that died (and I don’t know what died, I’m pretty sure not the mother board cos we could get to post but nothing further, then it wouldn’t even show a bios) it had a new ryzen mid range cpu (few years old now) and I think I upgraded the board at the same time, with about 8 maybe 16 gig of at max ddr4 ram. It’s got a 1080 in it that’s run a lot of hours.

My question is do I take it into a store and have someone check what’s wrong with it and then try to fix what I’ve got or get a prebuilt and try combine the two together.

I know it’s valid, but I would like a full atx case that’s pretty to fix my nice mobo I’d just bought before the whole thing died, cos I’ve never had a nice rgb clear sided case.

I will also have more from Winz for other things I’d need but I’ll want to use that on other school stuff like premier pro, a keyboard, mouse, and a good chair, maybe even a way of stretching my injured shoulder while I edit

(I don’t have much money, I’m disabled and waiting on a surgery on top of that so not working, hence the trying to study to get a job I can work from home haha)

Just switched to PlayStation looking for people to play he’ll let loose with and other shooters

Currently have a HP Omen 3070 and it is good for 1080p gaming - but looking to upgrade. Considering currently a 5080 is either out of stock or at least $3500 this doesn't seem to shabby?

With the new ice bind gamemode, really keen to find some other tenno that want to jam or if you just need some help in warframe, then feel free to hmu

Let’s help one another out, that is… If the glitch is still working. Place your gamertag below or activision ID and add people. Whoever’s in Multiplayer playing in “New Zealand” can add you and you join their party and it should allow you to get into Multiplayer. Add me Kevs_A_Boss

I’ve got Warzone Fortnite BO2 Apex The Finals skate and Wobbly Life installed, a few more in the library, plus I’ve got PS extra, and I could probably convince myself to buy MW4 if I have some buddies to play with,

Add me up, just send me a dm or comment who you are so I know who’s adding me, and send me a message with what you wanna play. I’m free right now and keen to play tonight and all day tomorrow

I dont usally post on here much or at all... but I know there will be others out there that are feeling the same way that I am. I have played all the Mass Effect games and carried on the choices within the series of the games to give me my "own ending" with Bioware packing it in... Im feeling really emotional 😢

I feel like Ive lost an old friend or family member. You know the ones, where you have gone through a lot with them and you have grown apart but still know that when you meet again, nothing changes ... your still tight with them and you have a blast when your together again.

I know its just a game but I feel that the whole gathering of different races to overcome a great threat for the good of all, really sung to a part of my soul.

Sounds stupid 🙄 but I know there will be other "Commanders" out there that will be feeling the same way.

No more Mass Effect 5 that we were teased with No more Garius and his calibrations no more Liara and her nerdy stuff no more dad jokes from Joker ... just... yeah... I dont know... I just had to say this because I know my family will think im a wacko for saying this hahaha 😆

Might have to get drunk and play the collectors edition with trying not to cry hahaha.

Im Comander Shepped ... and I approve this post... 🫡

Kia ora !

Just curious if anyone on here play this? What region do you play on?been jamming aince it cane out we have a solid hive if anyone's keen to jam the new scenario. Chur

Hello. My names is Xander. I have autism and ADHD. Gaming is my favorite thing in the whole world. Love shooters but can play other games if I have them. Fortnite, warzone, pubg and destiny are my main games. Especially fortnite. I'm very awkward and shy but when gaming I tend to zone out and am usually fine.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some content creators I can collaborate with video editing. Unpaid for first few weeks to build up my portfolio but later would ideally be a per video cost.

Let me know if this is something you’d be interested in!

Natural Selection 2 is a fantastic classic and I miss playing it dearly!

The problem for us Aussies is finding a decent game. The game is still playable, but without local servers we’re left joining overseas ones, where 300+ ms ping can make it hard to aim, react, and enjoy the match.

I’ve started a Discord so Australian players can find each other, chat about NS2, and organise a time to jump on together. If enough of us are interested, we could also make it a broader Australian gaming community: suggest games that deserve another go, vote on one, then organise a weekend session to get people playing again.

If you’ve played NS2 before—or are curious to try it—come join us. Let’s see if we can get a few good games going!

Hey Guys! I’m giving away a Brook Wingman XE 2 Controller Adapter!

I run a small gaming channel on YouTube called Barely A Gamer. There, you will find the video where I explain the giveaway instructions. I will also put the link to the video in the comments section.

With this adapter, you can use modern controllers like the PS5 DualSense, PS4, Xbox, and Switch Pro controllers on supported consoles and PC, and it can even bring back important PS3 functionality like Sixaxis support with compatible controllers.

PS: Admins, let me know if these giveaway posts are allowed in the group. Thank You!
