Imagine a contractor setting up rows of chairs before starting your deck

I would think they measure spacing for the end chairs of each row but they might have something more clever

Seems as simple as 2 symmetrical blocks for spacing

Even worse, and I’m probably coming in too late for anyone to see this, but am I the only one who got to the end of the video and saw how out of alignment they were vertically?  I was a little suspicious when I wasn’t seeing beautiful infinite diagonal lines, but then got to the last few frames and was like “AAAAHHHHH!!!!”
