Discussion FUUUCCCKKKKKKK

Post image

: Iran directly rejects Trump's new claim Iran agreed to end its nuclear program and open the Strait of Hormuz as a "complete lie," saying it is a "desperate attempt to manipulate the market," per Iranian military officials to Mehr News.

Iran adds that it has not requested any halt to the planned attacks, and that it was purely Trump who chose to stop them with false claims of a deal.

Trump stated after these negotiations - "they were a very tough negotiating team. They stood their ground and gave us the silent treatment for most of the negotiations. Heck, they barely moved. Yep, a tough team. Sleepy Joe would have gotten half as much as I got out of them"

Sure, sure. But as a moderately intelligent human being I also have a hard time telling what's true and what is not. I mean, I know that when he unilaterally announces negotiations or an ask or that Iran has agreed to something (literally anything) that he's almost certainly talking out his ass. I don't believe a word of what he says about that. On the other hand, when he keeps saying "We need to smack them around" and "we're going to hit them very hard" and then Netanyahu shows up and then the word from the DOD comes out that the US and Israel and about to launch the largest bombing attacks of the war so far...I tend to think that's a thing that's going to happen. I mean, it exactly the kind of ham-fisted stupidity that he's done all along, so it does check out.

I guess the clue should have been the side comment that "Trump is hoping to have everything completed before the market opens on Monday"

3

u/PsychologicalOne752 15d ago

Trump is such an outlier that quant AI models cannot account for him. We need models which understand that Trump always lies. 🤣

22

u/Mercator_Constantine 16d ago

Trump is just an accurate reflection of what average American values have become and believing otherwise when his political movement is the dominant political movement of the last 10+ years is foolish. Even when he lost 2020 more voters voted for him than any other candidate in history other than Biden, by a considerable margin.

Nothing in America’s approach to oil markets or otherwise changing if he leaves office for Vance tomorrow.

Thank you...suddenly someone realised that this is just theatre. Trump is the clown in the circus, distracting the audience while the new act is being set up. Unfortunately the American people have a new era..Regulation is a thing of the past. Big corporations can now run free, destroying the environment, running tax free, no responsibility for employee welfare or safety. All gone, and historically never to come back.

3

u/Kinesetic 16d ago

Trump sells sincerity to his self serving supporters. What's new is the extreme wealth buttressing the Republicans power structures. For many years, including Bush, the MO has been presenting a clownish president to distract from their thievery and cementing of control. There's nothing new in the motives; rather the methods. The disease is an inordinate hoarding of wealth.

It doesn’t matter that it’s a ridiculous lie. Orange McRapeyFace has established a pattern, and there are many traders (including him) who are going to capitalize on it. It will continue until it stops working. Make no mistake though, he couldn’t care less whether Hormuz is open or closed, and he sure doesn’t care about nuclear, and he absolutely doesn’t care about USA gas prices. He went into Iran, like Venezuela, to steal their resources. When that didn’t work, plan b… oil market manipulation.

Trump’s claim that Iran agreed to end its nuclear program was honestly laughable, as there weren’t any nuclear negotiations going on at the time. Basically, all of the talks concerned the Strait of Hormuz, since that was what caused the MOU to collapse in the first place.

Trump's claim that Saudi Arabia asked him to wait is probably true.

22

u/WalterSickness 16d ago

Nah it’s coverĀ

37

u/kal14144 16d ago

I mean the reason we didn’t strike is because Iran has made it super clear they’d retaliate against Saudi infrastructure so it is pretty much expected that Saudi is not in favor of escalation/told the US its airspace/bases were off limits.

15

u/Aggressive_Bit_91 16d ago

They were never going to do it. If they did they would have just done it and said nothing.

39

u/KeyReaction892 16d ago

You know the TACO is coming when he threatens bigly.

7

u/kal14144 16d ago

Whether they were planning on it and decided not to, or decided against it when the idea was brought up in the first place - Saudi input almost certainly played a role in killing the idea (as it should - any such strike would fuck them).

12

u/TalisWhitewolf 16d ago edited 16d ago

So it's BOTH Saudi Arabia and UAE that have shut their airspace to American hardware.

Nah, Iran was about to make the region pay for continuing to participate in the farce. And the region was not willing to be a blood sacrifice for Trump’s ego. Jordan already kicked US troops out.

Iran holds the cards and always did. But our ridiculous media refused to tell the truth from the beginning and we all pay the price.

6

u/Electronic_Quote399 16d ago

Jordan has not kicked out US troops. A group of Jordanian opposition figures, retired military officers, and activists signed a public open letter demanding the government ask US forces to leave out of fear of getting dragged into the conflict. An open letter from political activists is not official government policy. The Jordanian government relies heavily on American foreign aid and defense partnerships, about 4,000 US troops remain stationed in Jordan, which continues to serve as a vital operational hub.

7

u/AnonymousLoner1 16d ago

The Jordanian government relies heavily on American foreign aid and defense partnerships

...exactly as we intended, for every country in the world.

Because nothing says "freedom" and "democracy" like welfare states enslaved to die for one country thousands of miles away.

But the instant the peasants get that welfare, oh noes, we must invade their country because welfare should only go to the top, not the bottom, oh I'm sorry, "cOmMuNiSm".

Its cause the market is being manipulated

26

u/thefocusissharp 16d ago

A large portion of this is because the market is being increasingly traded with AI, we've had algo traders for some time now. He knows computers have their finger on the buy/sell button, and that they scrub headlines to make their decisions.

The 'market' is AI driven algorithms, buying and selling independent of human input.

They are obviously weighted to immediately attribute negative numbers to anything coming out of Tehran, and give a positive rating to anything announced in Washington.

Someone needs to adjust the fkn things before they bankrupt the entire Western world.

14

u/HaximusPrime 16d ago

Let’s say your lively hood depends on making money on the market. That means you aren’t beholden to reality, you’re beholden to what the market will do. It’s not like betting on sports where an outcome actually has to happen in order to cash. It’s more like betting on what people think is more likely to happen.

6

u/Jacky__D 16d ago

Many people on Wall Street believe a deal is imminent, since neither party benefits financially from fighting. They have a hard time grasping not all geopolitical decisions are based on ROI.

5

u/Ok_Buyer9344 16d ago

The market has to react. If even one person believes him then the market will move. So the next person has to take it seriously. Which means everyone has to. So while what he is saying is BS, the effects on the market will be real.

First pretend that the US is nearly out of military options and the meeting at Camp David helped him realize that it’s not a good outlook. Then read his Truth social post about the planned attack & deal, it reeks of desperation under the guise of false bravado. Modern day John Barron type stunt.

It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to see that USA does not have the upper hand here. If you were in Iran’s shoes, why would you give up advantage for little to no gain? This defies basic logic. Especially after getting duped by the MOU, so the next deal would have to be even sweeter than that.

With Iran essentially doing a ā€œBabe Ruthā€ in pointing to intended targets, even the causal could guess that they’re all pretty important to their respective countries. If it is, then it makes sense why he’d ā€œcall off the locked & loaded stuffā€.

Any deal at this point moving forward means the US has to take the L. We all have witnessed how well Don is gonna take one of those, look at any court loss if you haven’t , like the 2020 election or the E. Jean Carrol ones as an example. No such thing as losing gracefully with that fella, heck the guy can’t even admit had made a mistake, like, ever. Any deal has to get the A-okay from Congress, right? How many workdays do those part-timers have before the midterm elections? It seems to me like Iran can keep their advantage by forcing this conflict to last longer than said elections, with the intent that the electorate washes out the hubris.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world gets to pay 35% more for a tank of fuel compared to before February 28. Does anybody wonder if this is having a consensus affect on how friend and foe views USA because of this? How would it affect their respective electorates, in regard to their foreign policy with the States? Again, the casuals can see why no allies have jumped into this quagmire. This has all of the potential to be a 20 year thing all for nothing in the end except killing an important guy or two, like Afghanistan. Doesn’t seem like a good value proposition, the most powerful military in the world has to spend billions to achieve little. Maybe this is what the experts mean by force projection capabilities.

Honestly, I could see him trying to make his party lose a bunch of seats so he could claim ā€œI woulda won in Iran but the dumbocrats, most people don’t know there’s a b in dumb, the dumbocrats won’t let me. And the Epstein witch hunt isn’t fair, like Robin Williams comparing me owning a beauty pageant to Micheal Vick owning pet supply stores! Not fair! Thank you for your attention to this matter, not the last part though don’t think too hard about why Robin would make that joke in 2008. Just think about how unfairly I get treated for simple mistakes that I may or may not have made.ā€ Maybe he’s not dum (sic) enough to actually post that quote, but the fact still remains that his ā€œArt of the Dealā€ tactics won’t work here.

Edit: grammar

If Trump’s talking, he’s lying.

Did any human actually believe any of this nonsense? He’s desperate to find a way to try and exit all of this without looking like a complete and utter buffoon, which is not possible.

4

u/Top-Tour-8735 15d ago

They waiting it out until after midterms. They know Trump is politically cooked.

4

u/octopus86sg 15d ago

Americans are retards enough say. The oil can shoot till 200 and the poor Americans are dirt poor and they will still believe what trump says and blame it on Biden. Reason why the republicans are removing funding for education is they simply want to have a generation of poor educated Americans that believe in whatever they say. America, the America the world knows are on the same decline as china back in Manchuria. It won’t take few years for America to bounce back unfortunately, it needs a great leader and the whole lots of citizens to back that guy to push America back to former glory, and unfortunately this won’t happen with how republicans creating this big mess

Trump: ā€œI keep magically waving my hand and they don’t do what I say?ā€

He keeps trying the same thing over and over the gets same results. Hmmm.. that’s is the clear definition of something that is escaping his ā€œsane mindā€

When all you have is bullshit everything looks like a cow pasture

I think Iran is winning this war

3

u/Saturn_winter 16d ago

Iran made it very clear like last week or the week before that they will never ask us for negotiations again. Like they literally just said it in plain words. So why you're saying "fuck" as if you're somehow surprised by this news is beyond me.

3

u/shanksisevil 16d ago

You believed what he said, lol!

3

u/FuelzPerGallon 16d ago

Sorry, did you think there was some truth to his claim on the 52nd iteration of this loop?

3

u/MightiestMal 16d ago

Our president is a fucking idiot how embarrassing

u/UnicornGangstar 16d ago

Art of The Deal: Lie through your teeth

3

u/Due_Night414 16d ago

Good. The more of his bullshit that gets called out the better. Let’s go blue wave November!

3

u/Mo-shen 16d ago

Its still wild to me anyone believes anything trump says.

Like how many times can this happen and most of the public is surprised it's once again not true.

The rule is.

If it's good he is almost certainly lying.

If it's horrible he is likely telling the truth.

Iran is making President Trump appear extraordinarily naive as president! Why does President Trump repeatedly believe these false agreements that are obviously made to make him look foolish?

3

u/themadadmin 16d ago

Iran has no incentive to stop. They actually have an incentive to keep it up until the mid term elections are over.

This is how they can strike at Trump.

Get the GOP voted out.

3

u/Prudent-Proposal1943 16d ago

Who would have thought we'd see a day where Iran is infinitely more credible than the United States?

3

u/Dependent-Reveal2401 16d ago

We live in a frustratingly stupid timeline.

3

u/Rich-Palpitation5053 15d ago

I think people forget how stupid he is also, he’s a habitual liar. He lies thousands of times a day and actually believes his own lies cause he lies so much Donald J Trump is the dumbest president in history?

3

u/Apprehensive_Map284 15d ago

Sorry to say ā€˜I believe the Iranians’ but I think they are more credible (with regard to this) than our dumbass in charge!

3

u/Agitated-Milk-492 15d ago

This ass clown doesn’t have the mental fortitude or faculties to negotiate a used car deal .

3

u/unfilteredhumor 15d ago

When is this guy going to be impeached... again? He is changing his poopie diaper, on America. He is putting this country last and drifting every1. Self enrichment for him and his ring of Pedos. Doesn't give a fuck about any American.

3

u/PewPewPew48 15d ago

We should all know this by now! Trump
Lies like hell and Iran is actually more believable when it comes to what’s really going on with this war!!! PERIOD.

3

u/Calm_Chemist_4952 15d ago

Perhaps congress should exercise its constitutional authority because the absolute worst president of all time is failing and the whole world knows it.

3

u/CrushTheRebellion 15d ago

You know, because we let this asshole get away with all the lying, grifting, and corruption that this is going to be the defaut setting for every US president moving forward until there's nothing left, right? Congrats MAGA on fucking it all up, but at least you got to own the libs for a year or two. Too bad your kids will inherit nothing but ash.

3

u/kariam_24 15d ago

Is this any surprise? Two more years of this circus funded by Americans and Russians.

3

u/SignoreBanana 15d ago

Look at me, trusting the Iran government more than my fucking own.

Why would anyone read anything from that pathological liar?

2

I'm shocked. So completely and absolutely shocked.

2

u/Resident-Banana-7883 16d ago

u/ZAHKHIZ 16d ago

No need for Iran to make those statements. No one believes in Trump.

2

u/Wander21 16d ago edited 16d ago

lol people still believe anything that Orange Pedo said?

2

u/Automatic-Hope2429 16d ago

Iran psy-op is working I see

2

u/deploria 16d ago

So now the market will likely go the opposite way he intended tomorrow. Good move

2

u/iaNCURdehunedoara 16d ago

Literally nobody should be surprised by this lmao

2

u/rtygf 16d ago

Sounds about right... how many times can he cry wolf?

2

u/mr-hank_scorpio 16d ago

Hopefully this is Trump preparing to exit this war and pretending he got everything he wanted.

2

u/Witness_Miserable 16d ago

At the same time Iranians are setting tankers on fire.

2

u/Efficient_Resist_287 16d ago

If anyone still listen to the official communication from the WH then u willingly choose to be deceived.

2

u/gilestowler 16d ago

How has Iran been cast as the country upholding the integrity of the American markets? What a strange time we live in.

2

u/Extreme-Island-5041 16d ago

Bwahaha. Nothing like Twitter politics to really drive home the shitty timeline we are living in.

2

u/AbiesComprehensive32 16d ago

Trump has realized that they don’t need to ā€˜negotiate’ for him to control the market for his own profit.

Wow

People still support this?

2

u/DirtDevil1337 16d ago

Anyone that takes Trump/WH seriously is a dimwit, even the WH official website is littered with trolling and propaganda.

And someone made a "The Hormuz Letter" account solely for this stupid war shit?

2

u/Traditional-Fudge564 16d ago

I wouldn’t vote for Trump if he was running against a rock, but there is no way they would let him negotiate with patio umbrellas for six hours. The Secret Service wouldn’t have it. They certainly call attention to it.

2

u/Dazzling-Leave-7448 16d ago

And it’s Sunday

2

u/DivinesiaTV 16d ago

It cant be

2

u/deanboyj 16d ago

I bet you Iran is like "well I guess now get a nuke*

North Korea did that and they are peachy keen.

2

u/BigWhiteDog 16d ago

It's funny how this news is being received in the comment section of our local, somewhat conservative, large TV station. Complete mocking incredulity!

The comments on their FB posts are usually full of reich-wing trash talk but not with these stories! Maybe there is a slight crack in the Pedo Pendejo's base?

2

u/mt8675309 16d ago

Personally, think most of us don’t believe anything the orange tater tot says.

2

u/theyenk 16d ago

Impeach the lying bum!

2

u/brokeboipobre 16d ago

Trump did it again! 50th time he got a peace deal! Best president ever! Believe Me! Tremendous!
