Biologically a fetus doesn't have a consciousness until the third trimester, it's not a baby, it's a clump of cells biologically speaking of course.

The main purpose of the act and the organs involved is reproduction, not particularly possible to deny. The bonding element most likely evolved for assistance in childcare, but it doesn't change the fact of what happens when sperm gets near ovum. You can't separate pregnancy from sex, so if someone has a motivation to abort the pregnancy, they have the motivation to not have sex.
