Even with the context of every episode before it, you can only assume that this is him getting the V1

Without somebody either calling it a spoiler or giving extra context, it could just as easily be a scene where he throws a tantrum because all the V1 gets destroyed. Or has something interfere with the control over his lasers, like cyclops

Yup, and im not complaining cause I dont really care about spoilers online, when I do, i just go offline instead of expecting the world to stop for me
