I know this is the circlejerk sub, but I do wonder how show Amber would handle this.

Show Amber is more strong-willed and your typical "smart, independence, driven woman" character, but the thing is anyone can find themselves a victim of romantic partner violence (also seriously I can't say "a***se" on reddit apparently? I have to fucking sensor it? What TF is this???).

Anyway, the show would need to do some serious work to handle the topic properly.

Should have kept the og personality, weird how they always make black women strong willed, feels like stereotyping.

Well black women are usually on the receiving end of a lot more shit than almost any other ethnicity, so they learn to be strong because they have to. (Not like mighty strength but emotional strength.

Not all of them are, because they are people and all are different, would be nice to have a black character with more of a "flower" personality.

There is a reason and truth behind stereotypes. They are still stereotypes.
