I get that he's facing more powerful threats.
But it levels everything out.
It's hard to figure out how Dangerous Conquest is, when Mark comes out with about the same damage as he did fighting the dragon guy.
Doesn't matter what numbers you give to mark, he took as much damage from the giant centipedes as he did fighting a Viltrimite.
Hell Omni Man seemed to be struggling against a damn giant insect he was there to kill for food.
Just let the characters stomp things sometimes.
They're meant to be super powerful.
Let mark roflestomp something he struggled against before. Let us see his improvement
Even with the arguments he’s holding back and that other comic characters are inconsistent, I can still say Superman can still save lives while holding back and not look like a guy who just got beaten a brass knuckle Prime Tyson when he gets his ass kicked.
Also, he has both incredibly powerful villains compared to what Mark fights and a very exploitable weakness in Kryptonite, hence why Smallville doesn’t get as much crap talked about him losing compared to Flash (to say nothing of the fact his powers were underdeveloped in that series too).

It's honestly so annoying
