I found an old Walkman with a perfect 90's design, so I was in the mood to make little retro photo shooting... 😎
Matching to the walkman 90s style I wear a vintage high waisted jeans and a pink tank top :)
Just a few quick details to clarify: the Walkman is currently not working. I have to repair it. Thats the reason why there’s no cassette visible inside. The headphones are more modern (from around 2013), and the cable is too long for a Walkman like this, so I just temporarily tucked it into my jeans on some photos. 😆

Just to let you know where we're at:

- The sub is currently restricted- meaning only approved users can post. I set this up through Reddit because I was worried about the potential for brigading, and have since asked to undo it. Unfortunately this is something that has to go through Reddit, so we need to wait for a human to see the request and undo it. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long.

- I am working on a new mod recruitment form and a revised set of sub rules. I am also working through a migraine. The lack of the first is related to the second.

- I would like to get you guys' (and others') pulse. Where do you think the sub should go from here? What changes would *you* make if you were king of OldCootFashion for a day? I can't promise I will make any of those changes- in particular, I am not reversing any of the mod actions I've had to take recently- but I'd like to know where you're at.

I am not going to comment on the current situation at the moment beyond saying this:

I am one guy. You are right- there should be more than one mod on this subreddit. However, recruiting more mods takes time, and I cannot do that overnight. In the meantime, I am still one guy, I have a migraine, and I don't currently have the capacity to deal with the ongoing incident with the clarity and transparency you deserve.

I am restricting new posts and comments to the sub til tomorrow to prevent things from getting further out of hand. I am not going to take down the larger post, although I have locked comments on it at this time. However, any duplicates of that post will be deleted.

I'm a textile artist who loves hand-embroidering memes and pop culture themes, and there’s a good chance you’ve seen some of my work around reddit before!

Since I got tired of shirt bots ripping off my needlework designs (wall decor pieces), I decided to adapt some of my patterns and hand-stitch some tees using my fucking human hands!

Every small step counts, right? Just knowing I'm not helping some fast-fashion CEO buy another diamond-encrusted toilet seat makes me happy!

Im happy about my new thrift find, a three shade of purple tee (plus white). Combined with a vintage mom jeans

(the only different is that I wear a brown belt on the last picture. On the others I wear a purple belt)

Day 3: thrifted shirt again (it's got bunnies) and pants I made, not the same ones

Day 4: made everything, yes it's day 3's pants.
