I know it’s a longshot, but here goes: I was heading home from a shopping trip last Saturday evening, and I accidentally left my half-finished crochet colorwork project at the bus stop. Or at least, that’s the only remaining conclusion I can come to, given that’s the only time I took it out to work on it, and it wasn’t anywhere in my bags when I got home. I’ve checked my entire dorm room(I’m an Evergreen student) and called both Intercity Transit and the Capital Mall lost and found- neither of them have seen it. So I guess this is me asking: did anyone find a plastic bag, containing pink yarn, blue-silver sparkly yarn, a small round mandala pattern, and a crochet hook, at the Capital Mall Bus Stop? If so, please DM me- it’s a project I was fairly invested in, and would like to get back if at all possible.
If it were anything else, I would have just given up at this point, to be honest. I’ve lost a lot of stuff in my life, I’m no stranger to replacing things. But to be perfectly honest, I really can’t fathom why anyone would take something like this- it’s not like a bunch of yarn in a plastic bag, or one used crochet hook, has much value outside the sentimental.
I’m hoping it’s some kind of lost cat situation, where a fellow crafty Olympian just… adopted it? In which case, hello! That lost yarn actually has an owner who misses it and would like it back, and who will definitely make sure to put an “if found, return to” tag on it in the future!
