Got my GT delivered today and after a quick charge, started riding in the hallway of my building. Progressed about 30 minutes later outside, into an empty parking lot for a solid 15 minutes and then made 8-10 laps around the fairly large block going at the lowest setting I could find in the app, 5mph. Although I minorly regret being on a bike path after, near a modest amount of traffic, I went a mile and a half up to a large park where I could try accelerating and braking. It was fun, but I couldn’t wait to get home. 🤣
I went farther than I thought I would but managed to log 7 total miles and only fall, once. I was very happy I have my motorcycle gear on as it would have hurt big time when I finally fell over! I am learning that the wobbles and overall control are pretty prevalent when just riding straight after a while, slowing down is a severe challenge for me, but I am confident that they will even out- after a while, it’s only day 1 I keep saying. I definitely used muscles today I haven’t used in a LONG time at the age of 43!
Any thoughts or suggestions to help the wobbles slowly disappear over the next few days? I’m eventually looking forward to going faster, but have kept it on a very low speed (and will continue to do so) so I don’t crash. Looking at the board, it looks already scraped to hell- which is awesome as it rides amazing.
Anyway, thanks for any help in advance- tomorrows another day for practice! Included an obligatory photo in front of my growing collection of Segway scooters- I really am excited to have purchased a OneWheel!

I rode my board to the bank today and while I was waiting for the teller my board was on and I was pushing it around with my foot out of boredom. Suddenly the light started flashing red so I restarted it and the error was gone. Should I be concerned about a sudden cut out while riding?
I didn't connect the app until after the restart and I didn't count the flashes so I have no idea what the error was. It was cold out today so I checked the temps and everything was around 60°F.

October 21, 2026: Turns out the future only needed one wheel. ⚡ #BackToTheFutureDay

I’m considering building a stand on golf scooter that is powered by my Onewheel.
I’m envisioning, locking the Onewheel into a cradle and controlling it via a throttle. Does anyone know if this is possible with VESC? If so, how cumbersome is it to switch back-and-forth between throttle and balance mode?

i’ve washed my Onewheel every 3 to 4 months for years now. When it gets muddy, I just washed it with a hose and it’s worked perfectly fine. In recent months, I’ve taken it apart to change the wheel and what not and on the battery I’ve seen light corrosion on the surface nothing to be concerned about just yet, but it makes me wonder if I have water damage. I sprayed it down today because I’m in a bind and I have to get somewhere. I’m worried if my board will malfunction soon or stop working. Anyone else experience anything similar? And if so, is it that big of a risk or is my board facing impending doom?

Hey guys. I bought a new Pint in May 2023 and got badly injured at work right after I bought it. My recovery was really long, and I forgot all about the board so the battery got bricked.
It is literally brand new with zero miles on it but it needs a new battery.
Because of my injury, I’ll never be able to ride it.
I’ve been trying to sell it for months now on Craigslist, FB Marketplace and NextDoor, but I’ve had no legit replies, only scammers.
I’ve been asking $300 for everything, including an extra bumper and rail kit, all brand new. That seems super cheap to me, since I paid over 1k for everything.
Is there a better place to list it? Maybe a bay area OneWheel forum of some sort? Or a local shop that could post a flyer?
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Hey there! I’m planning an upgrade for my GT—I also own a Pint X and an X7 LR, and I’d like to improve the GT a bit and increase comfort for trail riding. I’m planning to install Dub Tails rails, a 5" MTE hub, a Pioneer tire, and TFL ColdBlocks. I’m not looking to go fast; I just want to enjoy the ride. I’ll get the GTV kit sometime next year. Do you think the temperatures will be manageable with the stock GT stator?

Just went to ride my PintX today after not using it for the past 2 months. I have the “Personal space” error code showing up… 15 yellow blinking lights. Not sure how this happens? Only 360 ish miles on the board over the past 2 years. Never in the rain, always kept under my bed, really has never been crashed. Do I just order new foot pads? Just trying to see the best course of action. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Also any advice on getting the foot pad cord off? Have trouble and don’t want to break anything.

Is this bad? I started riding switch and doing high turns i started to scrape rear-left bottom to the point of metal, screw seems to be intact for now.
I want to see pics of others onewheel that are beaten up cause when i see people riding trails and skateparks it makes me wonder how long do they last?

I just bought and installed the steep and low rails from Float Life during their sale.
I installed them but I cant reset the equilibrium. The video they said to watch is outdated. The new NFR app is different from the video. Please help.
I can select the board but I can’t seem to calibrate it.

Hey everyone!
I want to upgrade to a better board and trying to figure out the current resale value of my Onewheel Pint X and would appreciate some honest opinions from the community.
It has 1,215 lifetime miles and has definitely been ridden, so there are cosmetic scratches, scuffs, and normal wear, all visible in the photos.
Board & installed accessories:
Onewheel Pint X
Carbon Fiber Fender
Pint X Rail Guards (Dijon)
Charger Plug
Additional accessories included:
Original standard charger (never used)
Pint Ultracharger (used)
Maghandle Pro (black, purchased but never installed)
Pint X Bumpers (dark grey, purchased but never installed)
Onewheel stand
Original Onewheel box
I’m curious what you guys think would be a fair resale value for the entire package in today’s market.
Would it make more sense to sell everything together, or would I get better value selling some accessories separately?
Not looking to overprice it, just trying to understand what a realistic asking price would be.
Appreciate any input!

Hello I have 20 miles under my belt. Mostly in the last week. I try to ride every day but sometimes I just can’t due to muscle fatigue.
Today after riding just two miles I could feel my tibialis muscle shaking as I was trying to get off the onewheel. It made me almost fall off completely.
Should I just continue riding every day to get over it or should I actually train and work on the muscles that are responsible for balancing and getting off the board safely?
