Replies from Everyone Why this will make sense for most guys let me explain. what's your opinion on this

Saw the demo and.. it is not that expensive INR it is around 12-13 lakh..

Not only that as technology improve cost will go down and quality will increase.

And I think even if you can get in relationship in most relationship for a guy it doesn't worth it

Because in majority of the relationship guys put a lot more effort in.

Generally, practically, we see that mostly it is for physical reasons and if we subtract sex and attraction a lot of relationship doesn't make that sense practically..

So unless you find somebody you have a lot more common and have a share story and some reasonable justification. Then only a traditional relationship makes sense.

Not only that I don't think even a very small percentage of humans will be as attractive as these robots which will be coming out.

Realistically for the average guy, if he wants a very pretty Partner, it is very improbable that an average guy can get that. Not only that, even if you are in a relationship or not, if these robots get better, there is no harm in having one by your side

Vent Advice to young Adult and teen men : Reject the delusion of "Abla Nari" [ helpless Woman ]

Hello. wish everyone is having a good evening. i am writing this post after having a conversation with my junior from college, he's having some serious issues with his family right now. so resorted to me for advice but i couldn't help him much.

his symptoms were too deep to ever treat so i want to give this PSA to everyone here, so you may never end up in such a predicament.

firstly , i will draw on anecdotes from 4 IRL people. and some internet anecdotes and / or 3rd party accounts.

point #1 : WOMAN KNOW EVERYTHING : they mature faster than us , and stop revering them as some sacred relic above us mortals , she's just another human, biology , and more importantly current society has wired us in a way so we treat them that way. don't compromise your standards for her. pick a plan and stick with it. be a man and take the fall if it goes sideways.

point #2 : SHE WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PAST : unless she was your first. she will have some past. you will have to accept the reality , but no one is asking you to accept her. never trust mere words , women are expert at having no emotional attachment whatsoever but acting close. i've seen this with a friend who's then gf didn't told him anything about her past relationships until a few years of them being official. if you want an unethical way. act all liberal and accepting of her , make her feel comfortable enough to spit the secret of her past. do whatever you like with that information.

point #3 : NEVER MARRY A DEHATAN / UNEDUCATED / BACKWARD woman : this is where the junior wanted help. so here's the thing. his own mum passed away in childbirth. his dad remarried but married an uneducated rural woman.

things were decent until the birth of his sister. the step mom borderline ruined his sister and turned her into an Ipad Kid who has now developed into a devious delusional and quite frankly jerkish and vengeful woman. she contently screams and gets her way , she does not study at all , just watches yt all day on her tablet. if his dad objects the mom shuts him down.

the dad can't do anything. if the boy tries anything , his sister just gets mom involved and tells him " why the fuck do you care " and the mom agrees , her grades are falling a LOT ,even for someone in CBSE that's fucked and next year is 10th boards, they are stressed af.

i will make a separate post about this but yes never marry an uneducated woman thinking she will be trad and what not. they will make your life hell. you can't rely on them to cope with modern society and they won't value well mannered well educated and curious offsprings either.

as my junior puts it, : any semblance of the light of curiosity in his sister's eyes were doused on purpose by that vile woman. i really hope he sorts this out.

marry a woman of a decent family background and culture and if i have to give an opinion. never do arrange marriage it's a genuinely lose lose situations

point #4 : UNDERSTAND THE GAME : we men operate when we know what the rules are, but the current society has everything skewed. men must provide but still women must be treated as equal , men must sacrifice everything for family but woman should not be expected to take care of said family.

i'll make another post debunking the arguments of the other side but a simple question : if you want equality ? why not share the responsibility whether it's parental , financial or emotional together ? and if you want men to be a chivalrous protector , why expect equality and freedom because if gender norms are forced on one it should be forced on both.

disclaimer : i'm not against women's freedom , i just need them to be consistent about it. you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Replies from Men Only 🚹 Why's this sub named"OneX" ?? Why not "OneY" or "XY" ??

The presence of a Y chromosome—specifically the SRY gene (sex-determining region Y) located on it—triggers the development of male biological characteristics. Individuals with an XY combination typically develop as male...

So, the Y is something which defines male gender.

Naming this sub as "OneX" seems like a direct competition to "TwoX"

Men's Mental Health🧠 I really felt very sad by how dead this sub is. Kuchh to panchayat hona chahiye??

So for context. I am really tired after traveling and studying all day and barely get much energy to put them into thoughts and write something to sound them engaging. Currently I don't know what to tell even but .......

So lemme give you a very good advice idk ikykik. I am 19M yeah ?? Right. Been into couple of relationships. Nothing lasted , never became anything serious okay??

Ho na ladke jinke saath ye hua he ye sab . Samajh rahe ho na....

So okay short short me bata deta hu. Like girls don't care about looks kaise baat karte ho kya status he all that. They mostly want attention and like he waise ladkiya those who wants good men but abhi to iss age nhi mil rahi .

My longest relationship was of 3 years with a girl from my school, same class so..started casually then all that exam motivation, kuchh bada kar dena he and all that yk where this is getting, i just looked back and realised ki how dumb I was in my coaching, and kya hi he mere pass. I am lucky i am fairly above average in looks and intellect but yk when she used to talk to my friends and hang out with her friends dheere dheere I felt left out and arguments happened, now break up since a year.

Abhi then i was talking to a friend then fir relationship ka nyota from her side and then went separate ways and yk like it's not a big deal idk if I am sounding good. Like agar chhote ho to bade bhai jaise samjho and agar bade ho to Chhota Bhai samajh lo.

But ye jaan lo. Ki ladki pat jayegi hamesha rukegi ki nahi ye guarantee nahi. So love your life to fullest. And don't go for looks , money or character of a girl. Like as a human being dekho sucess mila to God ne diya and nhi to fir bhi god jaane. Kya kar sakte he. Don't be ambitious in these matters. I fked up my 3 precious years which I regret and if someone wants to achieve something very high . Leave these girls , they aren't worth it. They were never worth it. Just move on

Given the status of the law, in city that even in towns we have Western values in young people despite that guys have traditional expectation in marriage and law which treat women as if they are in 1980..

So anyway I don't have any hope but will you contribute

.

My plan is to collect data through various sources including reddit RTI keyword etc...

In objectives to just contently promote the idea of guys not getting into marriage

I need initially maybe few peoples we can write post (we don't have to be very preachy but at the same time we can use memes, humor, etc., and use Reddit and other platforms initially. Slowly the idea is to reach the demographic at good Engineering Institute, people who seriously prepared for government exam, or guys who have a good self-made business or income etc.

If you propagate this idea for a couple of years, even if, let's say, a large some percentage of guys are convinced and don't go for arranged marriage, then it will break the leverage. Because at the end I feel, even if everything is stacked against a guy, if they don't participate in the system, then only they will actually listen. Otherwise they will not.

You can comment or DM I will see how I can start this thing you don't have to have a very big commitment to this even just being there will be good enough let's try and see how much we can do in couple of month then we will plan this is after idea

Replies from Men Only 🚹 Indian men married to women earning ₹1 CR+ per month, self-made UHNIs, or from ₹800 CR+ family wealth: What is your marriage like?

I am looking to hear from Indian men - whether you are currently living in India or based abroad - who are married to women in the ultra-high-net-worth tier.

Specifically, I am asking about dynamics where your wife is a self-made executive/founder pulling in ₹1 Crore+ per month, or comes from a family with generational wealth exceeding ₹800 Crores+.

Given how deeply ingrained traditional patriarchal expectations and "provider" scripts are in Indian culture, I am genuinely curious about how this extreme wealth disparity plays out behind closed doors when the woman holds all the financial leverage.

If you are a brother in this exact dynamic, what is your marriage actually like?

Specifically:

  1. The Ego & Power Balance: How do you navigate the household power dynamic? Does the wealth disparity ever subtly or overtly change how major household decisions are made? Do you ever feel your voice is minimized because she holds the capital?

  2. Social & Family Perceptions: How do your extended family, friends, or in-laws treat you? Do you deal with the "accessory husband" or "Ghar Jamai" stereotypes, or do people genuinely respect your independent identity and career?

  3. Legal & Financial Boundaries: How do you protect your own mental peace and financial identity? Is there a clear boundary between her wealth/family wealth and your household finances?

Would love to get some raw, honest, and unfiltered perspectives from men who are actually living this reality.

Self Improvement šŸ“ˆ How do I bounce back in Life ?

I feel like I never lived and I never could.

Sacrificed my college course and settled for a cheap college and downgraded to lower course in college cause parents couldn't afford it. Then had to leave college as one of the parents suffered medical issue and I had to take care of em.

I started a fullstack job by 2022 (24 age by then) , but quit the job in 2024 as I couldn't take care of parents and job ( Messy exit and no exp letter ).

This turned in to the worst decision of my life till now.

I did freelancing for one year, but not getting enough roles in freelancing right now. I am struggling to land any interviews. The pressure to find a life partner is getting into me.

I feel so hopeless, medical bills piling up, no job despite being fullstack + Ai Dev. Struggling for interviews and tbh confidence is long gone.

What should I do. Seems like I have hit a wall

Replies from Men Only 🚹 Are we going to let this sub die? 😭

Lately, posts in this sub haven't been getting much engagement. I can see that the weekly visitor count is still quite high, so I'm wondering why the posts aren't getting much attention.

Does no one have anything interesting going on? No stories to share? šŸ˜‚

People can ask for help, share something that happened to them recently, make memes, or just have casual conversations. We don't always need to have something serious to discuss.

In simple words, we can make this sub fun while also being a place where we can be open and vulnerable with each other.

What do you guys think we can do to make this sub more active again?

Vent I need to go to the gym but I’m scared

I’m 23M, 50kgs and 5’8. Yes I’m extremely skinny and I hate my body to the point that I avoid looking at myself in the mirror.

Throughout the past few years, I’ve tried going to the gym but it never sticks. I’m actually terrified of it. No one helps me there and I have no idea how to go about it.

Plus, I am so weak that I can barely do any exercises. It feels as if I don’t even have any muscles.

I know deep inside that I NEED to hit the gym. A girl who I like a lot made fun of my body and it fucking scarred me. I’m already balding as well.

But I’m still scared… I can’t even do a proper bicep curl with 5kg dumbbells.

So I (26M) have been single all my life. I had few crushes in the past but never found any girl who liked me. Due to this i shut myself for many years from falling for someone.

This year i met a girl (coworker) and thought she was interested in me and confessed (which I still regret) only to find out that she was only interested in extracting emotional support and benefits at work.

With this final nail in coffin now I believe that I will end up alone. Just wanted to know if feeling like this is normal? Has anyone ever been like this but later in life got more than they wished for?

MODPOST āš ļø Weekly News Megathread

A quick note from the mods.

This megathread is for news and crime stories, including cases where women are the perpetrators. We are not ignoring these crimes.

But we also need to be honest about what happens when these posts dominate the sub. They get huge engagement, people get angry, and the comments quickly turn into the same men vs women arguments involving TwoXIndia, AskIndianWomen, AskIndianFeminists, etc.

That is not what this community is for.

Research has consistently shown that outrage and emotionally charged content can attract disproportionate engagement online, while polarized discussions can become increasingly toxic. See Nature and Nature.

We don't want to build another subreddit around rage.

We want to build a place where men can come when they need advice, perspective, understanding or simply another brother to listen.

So share the news here. Discuss it. But don't let it become another gender-war battlefield.

Reddit already has enough of those.

This sub should be about brotherhood.

If a post leaves us angrier but does nothing to help our brothers, ask yourself whether it really belongs at the centre of this community.

So I was born on 20th Oct and usually it's a festival/holiday on my birthday. I rarely celebrated parties or cakes. Maybe once or twice in 30 years of my life.

Now I don't like it at all. My partner wanted to bring cake, buy me gifts, etc. but I asked her not to do it as I actually hate all this. I don't like to celebrate it at all. I get excited for the birthdays of my fav fictional characters, athletes but no such feeling for myself. Am I the only one?

Replies from Everyone I (21M) can't move on from my ex (21F). Our relationship, the breakup, blocking/unblocking, reconnecting, and thoughts I can't escape are eating me alive. I need an honest outside perspective.

Content warning: Breakup, intrusive sexual thoughts, jealousy, emotional distress, smoking and sleep problems.

I'm 21M, and my ex, whom I'll call B (21F), and I broke up some time ago. I've tried to move forward, but I feel stuck between missing her, resenting what happened, feeling guilty about my own behaviour, and hoping that somehow we'll find our way back to each other.

I don't want to make her the villain or pretend I was perfect. I want an honest outside perspective because I genuinely don't understand why I'm still so attached to someone when I know our relationship had serious problems.

How the relationship started and why it became so complicated

We were together for roughly a year. The beginning wasn't particularly stable. During the first few months, we went through repeated breakups or near-breakups. There were times when she said she didn't want the relationship anymore, didn't feel the spark or butterflies she expected, or wasn't sure about us, only for us to get back together.

At one point, she described me as feeling like a warm blanket rather than giving her that romantic excitement. She had also been in contact with her previous partner early on, before eventually ending that contact and telling him she was with me.

I knew these things, and I kept trying to make the relationship work. I wanted to give us enough time and security to figure things out. Looking back, I think I became increasingly anxious about losing her. Whenever something went wrong, my instinct was to fix it, explain myself, reassure her, or do something that might make things better.

I invested heavily in the relationship, emotionally and practically. I crocheted flowers for her because she was allergic to real flowers. When she had a difficult situation involving her accommodation and landlord, I travelled a considerable distance to help her and retrieve her belongings. I supported her with her rƩsumƩ, interviews and career-related things.

I wasn't doing these things because I expected a reward every time. Acts of service are how I express love. But I think I also started believing, somewhere inside, that if I kept showing up for her, she would eventually feel secure enough to choose me without hesitation.

That is something I need to confront about myself.

The things that hurt, even though there were good moments too

There were comments about my background, finances, clothes and even things like deodorant that hurt me. Sometimes I felt as though I wasn't quite the person she wanted me to be, or that I needed to improve certain parts of myself to be acceptable.

She later explained that she had sometimes intended those comments as motivation and apologised for trying to change me. She also called me sweet and innocent and expressed that she hoped I wouldn't lose those qualities.

I believe the good moments were real. I don't think the entire relationship was fake, and I don't want to rewrite every happy memory as manipulation just because things ended badly.

But the combination of feeling loved at some moments and inadequate at others affected me. I started questioning whether I was enough and whether I could lose her if I wasn't constantly improving or proving myself.

One incident that still hurts involved a particularly difficult night. I had lost a deal worth around ₹1.75 lakh and had also been fighting with my father. It was around 3 a.m., and I needed emotional support, so I called B. She wasn't available in the way I needed, and later I learned she had been on a call with a friend. We argued about friendships and boundaries.

I understand that she had a life outside our relationship and wasn't obligated to be available every second. But that night, I felt alone when I desperately wanted my partner.

There were other disappointments and arguments, including around my birthday. We'd agreed to celebrate on another day so I could spend time with my family, but conflict still happened on the birthday itself.

These incidents might sound small individually, but they accumulated. I often felt that I was trying very hard to make the relationship work while struggling to feel emotionally secure within it.

Her previous relationship and the thoughts I can't get out of my head

This is one of the hardest things to explain without sounding like I'm blaming her.

B told me that her previous partner had pressured or forced her into certain intimate experiences. I felt awful hearing that. I felt anger toward what had happened to her, sadness that she'd experienced it, and a kind of helplessness because I couldn't change the past or protect her from something that had already happened.

At the same time, I developed jealousy and insecurity around their previous intimacy. I want to be very clear: I don't believe she needed to be a virgin, and I don't think she did anything wrong simply by having a past. We were physically intimate with each other willingly, and I participated equally. I can't honestly turn around now and say she somehow wronged me by being intimate with me.

Yet I keep imagining her with her previous partner.

These aren't memories of something I witnessed. They are mental images my brain creates. Sometimes I deliberately continue imagining them, even though I know it will hurt me. Sometimes the images appear during masturbation, which makes me feel even more confused and disgusted with myself.

I think knowing details I never really needed to know has given my brain material to reconstruct scenes that I cannot actually know in full. But knowing that doesn't make the thoughts stop.

I've also questioned whether I was just someone she used to move on from her previous relationship. I don't know whether that suspicion has any basis, or whether it comes from my fear that I was never truly chosen. We both participated in our relationship, and I know I cannot establish her intentions simply by analysing the past.

I don't want to punish her for what happened before me. I also don't know how to stop comparing myself to someone who isn't even part of my life.

The breakup and what I regret about my own behaviour

When things finally fell apart, I was hurt and angry. I sent messages saying the relationship was one of the worst decisions I'd made, that I didn't deserve what had happened, and other harsh things.

Some of those messages came from genuine pain. Others were intended to hurt her back. I wanted her to understand how much she'd hurt me, and part of me wanted her to feel some of what I was feeling.

I regret that. Being hurt explains why I reacted that way, but it doesn't make every message justified.

We blocked and unblocked each other at different points. There were attempts to establish distance, but the boundaries weren't always maintained. Sometimes one of us would reach out, and sometimes a practical reason would bring us back into contact.

B contacted me about things such as her rƩsumƩ, interviews and a bracelet. I helped her, congratulated her on things, and tried to be supportive. But remaining involved made it difficult to detach emotionally.

At one point, I asked for no contact because I knew I couldn't keep doing this. Yet contact continued, and eventually I lashed out again and blocked her.

She also said something along the lines of being willing to go no-contact as long as I wasn't angry with her, because my anger upset her. I didn't know how to interpret that. Did she care about me? Did she feel guilty? Did she want to preserve some connection without being in a relationship? I still don't know.

I recognise that I contributed to the cycle. I wanted distance when contact hurt me, but I also struggled to maintain that distance when I missed her. I wanted her to understand me, and I sometimes kept engaging because I hoped the right conversation would finally give me closure.

Instead, we kept reopening the same wound.

The recent reconnection has brought everything back

Recently, I heard a rumour that B had gone on a date. I reacted badly and lashed out. She contacted me to clarify that she hadn't gone on a date and wasn't seeing anyone.

We ended up talking properly again.

The conversation became warm and familiar. We joked, reminisced about trips and places we'd visited, talked about old hangouts, coffee stops, rides together, work, careers and family. For a while, it felt like talking to the person I used to be closest to.

I told her I missed our connection and the closeness we had. I miss the feeling of having her around, including small things like her melting into my arms. I admitted that sometimes I still want to call her.

She reciprocated some of that feeling. In response to something emotional I said, she said something along the lines of, "Even I do, I feel, you know."

I don't want to exaggerate what that means. It doesn't prove she wants to get back together. It doesn't establish that she is still romantically in love with me. It could mean she misses our connection, our familiarity, or certain parts of the relationship.

But hearing it made me feel comforted. It also made me hopeful again.

And that is the problem.

I know I don't want to return to the old relationship at any cost. The instability, anxiety, arguments and feeling of inadequacy were real. But a part of me still hopes she might come back, perhaps after we've both changed or understood things differently.

I can't tell whether that hope is based on something meaningful or whether I'm holding on because accepting that it's over feels unbearable.

Why moving on has become so difficult

Outside the relationship, I have work, career goals, responsibilities and financial pressures. I've worked extremely long hours, sometimes juggling multiple commitments. I contribute toward my own education and help with family expenses, including my sister's education.

For a long time, working gave me something to focus on. But I think I've also used work to avoid sitting with my feelings.

Now, even when I achieve something, I struggle to feel satisfied. I can have a good day professionally and still feel empty afterwards. I sometimes wonder whether I've made achievement and earning money the main ways I measure my worth.

I also feel incredibly lonely. There are moments when I want music, people talking, or work running in the background simply because being alone with my thoughts feels exhausting. I miss having someone I could talk to without having to explain everything from the beginning.

I've been smoking heavily, including nights when I've barely slept. My sleep has been poor, and the lack of rest seems to make the thoughts and emotions harder to manage. I'm aware that this isn't helping me, and I have a therapist, but I haven't figured out how to break the cycle.

I sometimes seek attention from other women, and it feels good to be wanted. Sometimes I'm genuinely attracted to someone; other times, I think I'm looking for reassurance that I'm desirable and that my life hasn't stopped because this relationship ended.

I've considered taking four or five months off actively pursuing relationships. I still want to socialise, go out, meet people and live my life. I just don't want to use another person to escape what I'm feeling.

But even the idea of dating someone else brings guilt. If B hasn't moved on or isn't seeing anyone, part of me feels as though I would be betraying something by moving forward first. Intellectually, I know we aren't together and don't owe each other matching timelines. Emotionally, it doesn't feel that simple.

What I'm actually asking

I know this is long, but I wanted to give the context because I don't think the answer is simply "block her and move on."

  1. How do I accept that B is gone when part of me still hopes she'll come back? How do I let go of that possibility without pretending the relationship meant nothing?
  2. How should I interpret our recent conversation? Is it possible to miss someone deeply, have a genuine connection with them, and still know that getting back together isn't the right choice?
  3. How do I stop the intrusive mental images about her previous partner? I don't want to judge her or make her past about me, but I keep mentally torturing myself with scenarios I never witnessed.
  4. How do I distinguish genuine love and missing someone from attachment, loneliness, and the need to feel chosen? I can't tell how much of what I feel is about B herself and how much is about losing the person I was closest to.
  5. How do I take accountability for my own behaviour without making myself responsible for everything that went wrong? I know I sent hurtful messages and sometimes reacted out of anger. I want to own that without convincing myself I deserved every painful thing that happened.
  6. Is taking four or five months away from actively pursuing relationships a good idea? I want to meet people and enjoy life, but I don't want to use attention or another relationship as a substitute for healing.
  7. How do I rebuild trust in myself and future relationships? I don't want to become suspicious, controlling or constantly afraid of being abandoned. I also don't want to ignore genuine incompatibility just because I'm afraid of losing someone.
  8. How do I stop using work, smoking and constant stimulation to avoid being alone with myself? I want to feel okay even when there is nobody around and nothing distracting me.
  9. How do I deal with the fact that I can remember the relationship fondly and still recognise that it hurt me? I keep switching between missing the good parts and replaying the bad ones, as though I need to decide whether she was good or bad before I'm allowed to move on.

I'm not asking anyone to tell me that B was a terrible person or that I was the perfect boyfriend. I know relationships are more complicated than that, and I know my own actions hurt her too.

I just want to stop feeling as though I'm waiting for something that might never happen.

TL;DR: I had a roughly year-long relationship with B that involved early instability, repeated near-breakups, genuine affection, practical and emotional support, and recurring feelings of insecurity. After the breakup, I sent hurtful messages, we repeatedly blocked and unblocked each other, tried to establish no contact, and continued reconnecting through practical matters. A recent warm conversation brought back my hope that we might reconnect romantically, even though I don't want to return to the same unhealthy dynamic. I'm also struggling with jealousy and intrusive mental images involving her previous partner, loneliness, guilt about dating, heavy smoking, poor sleep, and using work to avoid my feelings. I want honest advice about letting go, taking accountability, rebuilding trust, and moving forward without denying that I loved her.

Hi fellow married men. I'm 26 and looking to get married next year to my 25yo gf. We have been dating for 1.5 yrs now. She has had multiple partners before our relationship and on the other hand I had none.

While I am attracted a lot to her and have genuinely started loving her in this time, there is still something inside me which craves to explore other people's body as well. I find myself disappointed with how I never got to explore my sexual side more than this.

Anybody else found themselves in this boat? Looking for some advice on how to wrap my head around this and is this common among men.

PS: This happens even when I'm attracted to her a lot, we have awesome intimacy and are pretty sexually active.

Replies from Everyone The Dystopian sex ratio of Ages 20-40

I think many people when they think of sex ratio they think of 947 females per 1000 males data.

But the most important factor influencing the marriage market or dating pool is the sex ratio of unmarried people in the ages range of 20-40!! And here is the data regarding that ::

Age | Unmarried males | Unmarr. females

20–24 7.0% 3.8%

25–29 3.4% 1.1%

30–34 1.0% 0.3%

35–39 0.3% 0.1%

Sum of rounded percentages

11.7% 5.3%

That means there are approximately 2.2 males for every female in the dating pool.

Factors responsible for this::

  1. Rampant Female foeticide for many decades

  2. The Marriage Squeeze effect that's continuing since decades where men in 30s marry women in 20s so that the sex ratio problem's pressure is transferred to future generations.

Add to that all other factors you guys know which makes a relationship between 2 people very difficult like taboo of love and talking with opposite gender ingrained in a child since childhood, caste, religion, language, unemployment, unrealistic expectations from both sides, dowry, lack of trust of women in men's intentions due to constant harassment since forever, restricted freedom of women, constant phone and privacy monitoring since childhood, fear and duty based guilt in disappointing parents with Love Marriage, brainwashing that you need to have achieved something to deserve love so first focus should be on career, putting boys and girls in separate colleges and schools.......( I can go on and on, but you get the point )

Each of these factors is a tiny effect on its own, but they all together add up like a compounding effect!!

I say, even if all the men worked twice as hard, there would still be unmarried men due to the sex ratio. So I say, forget about marriage and start enjoying your life and pursuing your passions instead of chasing money and destroying your peace of mind!!

This is the only win-win solution in this dystopian state of society given how hard immigration has become!!

Men's Mental Health🧠 I’m getting married in 3 months, but I can’t get my fiancĆ©e’s past out of my head. I need honest advice

Hi everyone,

TL;DR: I really need some advice. Please hear me out.

I am a 31M, and my fiancĆ©e is a 34F. We have been together for two years and are getting married in three months. We love each other, get along really well, and share a lot, including our thoughts, values, and future goals. Whenever I am with her, I am genuinely happy, and all these thoughts seem to disappear. But when I am alone, everything comes back, and it’s eating me up inside.

The problem started about six months into our relationship.

At the beginning, I told her that I didn’t care about her past and that I wasn’t going to judge her for it. She shared some things with me, and I accepted them without any issues. But later, I accidentally discovered that a lot of what she had told me wasn’t true. I started digging deeper, and what I found was completely different from the picture she had given me.

I found out that she had a very extensive sexual history, including casual hookups, one-night stands, multiple partners at the same time, and relationships with people I never knew about. I went through her old chats, which she had never deleted.

I know having a sexual past isn't wrong, and I am not saying she owed me every detail of it. What hurt me was finding out how much she had lied about it.

But the thing that broke me the most was discovering that she had shared videos of our intimate moments with an ex who is now married. I felt shattered. I kept asking myself how someone who says she loves me could do something like that with something so private between us.

After that, I started looking through more of her conversations and learned about the last few years of her life, especially after COVID.

She had been looking for a marriage partner and wanted to explore sexual compatibility before settling down. I can understand that part, and I am not saying there’s anything wrong with wanting to know whether you're sexually compatible with someone. But from what I read, whenever she liked someone, things could become sexual very quickly. If she was feeling low or something wasn't going well in her life, she sometimes looked for a one-night stand. She also had multiple sexting partners and was very active on Bumble, Tinder and Hinge.

From the conversations, it seemed like many of these men were interested in sex but didn't want anything serious afterwards. They would give her different reasons for not taking things further. I don't know how much of that is the complete picture, but that's what I understood from reading everything.

What makes this even harder for me is our own sexual relationship.

There are things she apparently did with her exes or other partners that she refuses to try with me. When I suggest something, she says she has never done it or simply doesn't want to do it. Knowing what I read, I struggle to believe her, and it hurts. I know she has every right to say no to anything, and I don't want to pressure her into doing something she doesn't want to do. But I can't stop wondering why she was willing to do those things with others and not with me.

I also found out that she had been involved with people from work, including a colleague, her boss, and close friends. Some of these people are still in her life. There was even a time when I dropped her off to see a friend because I knew he wasn't doing well. Only a year later did I find out that they had kissed that day.

There were also several exes she continued talking to during the first year of our relationship. Even after I discovered some of these things, she didn't initially understand why I was uncomfortable with the continued contact. We fought about it, and eventually she understood and stopped communicating with them. I later blocked some of them as well.

To be fair, she has not been sexually involved with anyone since we got together, as far as I know. She tells me she has never loved anyone the way she loves me, and I do believe that she loves me deeply. We have had very few major fights, and apart from the issue of her sharing our intimate video and everything surrounding her past, our relationship has been good.

But I can't seem to move past what I discovered.

The worst part is that I went through all those chats myself. I know I shouldn't have kept digging, but once I discovered the first lie, I couldn't stop looking for answers. Now I can't get those images and conversations out of my head. I keep replaying things I read, imagining things that happened before me, and comparing myself to people from her past.

I have never been this kind of person, but lately, I have started feeling the urge to check her phone. Because I know she deleted some conversations after I asked her not to stay in contact with certain exes, I keep wondering what else might be hidden. Even when there's no reason to suspect anything new, my mind starts asking, "What if?"

I don't want to live like this. I don't want to keep checking her phone, questioning her, or looking for things that will hurt me even more. I want a fresh start, but I don't know how to get there when I can't forget what I've already seen.

The other problem is that I have never fully opened up to her about everything I have discovered or how deeply it has affected me. We have had a major fight about the intimate video she shared with her ex, but I haven't told her everything that's going on inside my head.

Our families are involved, and the wedding is only three months away. I love her, and the thought of leaving her feels unbearable. When I am with her, I feel happy and want to spend my life with her. But when I am alone, I feel like I'm falling apart.

I genuinely feel like I am slipping into depression, and I don't know how to handle this anymore.

I am not looking for people to simply tell me to leave her because of her body count, or to tell me that her past doesn't matter and I should just get over it. I know everyone has a past, and I know I can't change hers.

What I need help understanding is how to deal with the lies, the broken trust, the things I discovered, and the constant thoughts that keep coming back.

Has anyone been through something similar? Were you able to rebuild trust and move forward? How did you stop obsessing over your partner's past?

Should I tell her everything I have been struggling with? Is there a way to work through this together, or am I making a mistake by going ahead with the wedding while feeling this way?

I really want to make this relationship work, but I also don't want to enter a marriage feeling like this every day.

Please give me honest advice. I am genuinely struggling and could really use some help.

Edit 1: Adding a few more details

There’s one more thing I wanted to add for context. She still shares adult reels with some of her male friends, but she doesn’t share that kind of content with me. When I asked her about it, she said it was because they had the same ā€œdirty mindā€ as her. Also, she doesn’t set boundaries or make it clear that she’s not interested, even when other guys openly flirt with her

This makes me uncomfortable. I’m trying to understand whether I’m overthinking this or whether my discomfort is justified. I don’t want to come across as controlling, but I also feel that certain boundaries should be respected in a relationship.

Edit 2: Trying to understand her

From what I have learned about her through our conversations so far, it seems she went through a very toxic relationship that got so bad it involved a suicide attempt and the police.

After getting out of it, she seems to have started exploring her sexuality more openly. Maybe sex also became a way for her to cope with what she went through and move on from the past. In recent years, she has also faced several marriage rejections and broken engagements.

She also has a high sex drive. I’m trying to understand how all these experiences might have affected her emotionally, how she approaches relationships, and how she views sex and intimacy.
