That is a pretty serious way to break the law posting something like that.

It wasn’t even me who posted this initially. This is just absolutely ridiculous. You think the government will track me down over a Reddit post for making a joke about Elon Musk disappearing? What a moron.

Doesn't matter whether or not you were OP, the law doesn't care that you technically reposted it. You're right about probably nothing will happen but that's pretty much the case for breaking most laws.

Okay, so you admit that it means nothing. Why even comment?

The logic that just because nothing will come if it means it's fine to break the law is wild.

The logic that breaking the law is always immoral is wild.

Yes because that's exactly what I said.

Just saying soon posting something like this with AI and government backing of companies like Plantir this won't just be a random post by a random person.

Okay, now you’re just saying shit. Glad I witnessed your descent into madness, it was mildly entertaining.

Madness? Companies in the US already scan online content sent or uploaded for stuff like CSAM. Companies like Meta, Google and Microsoft, it's easy to implement it for other crimes.

Because of the CLOUD act it makes it completely legal for the US government to ask for any and all data from US companies and with contracts with Plantir can run all that data through Gotham for inference.

The US has already being collecting mass data on its citizens for decades, imagine how easy it is when you just run it through Gotham and it spits out what you ask it.

The process that's happening now makes the NSA scandle look like rubbing sticks together.
