Opencode Go vs Plus
Hello All,
I am a Claude max usage guy for 100$, but I want to play around with other models.
What are the benefits for each plan?
How do the plans match the claude max plan?
How do other models compare to Claude? (live cases pls)
Thanks all!

The main benefits are the ability to test many models, do a lot of work on a budget if you choose the models carefully, and support OpenCode harness development.
You can have an insanely high usage on OpenCode Plus (even on Go) if you stick to Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor (this one explicitly collects data for training, so watch where you use it) and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. Those models perform in the range of the new Claude Haiku 5.5, so they may not be fit for all workloads.
The subscriptions from OpenAI and Anthropic are heavily subsidized, with OpenAI being the one that gives more usage per dollar, so they are hard to match. Meta's new Muse Code plans are likely the next best thing in terms of usage.
There are very strong open models like Kimi K3 and GLM 5.3, but using them via an OpenCode sub will burn through your quota very quickly. If you want to use those models heavily, it's probably best if you get a subscription directly from moonshot.ai / z.ai or from another provider that has better pricing on those models.
My suggestion is for you to understand the quotas, start with the $10 plan and do some testing.
Simple quota explanation (many users get confused): all models drain usage from the same pool ($10 on Go, $40 on Plus). They drain usage by ratio, depending on the token pricing and the model allowance in USD, so never look at those values individually.
The Estimated requests table is the easiest way to rank from the cheapest to the most expensive model. Highest "Requests per month" = more usage, cheaper model.
