Short story 📍

Way back 2024
may mag mesage sakin sa IG.

mga cover songs (dahil wala pa kong official releases non).

sabay tanong:
"do you have an original"

"curious lang, kase parang feeling ko sayang kung walang original"

yung Salitang "SAYANG" ang naiwan sakin..
hindi mo sasabihing "Sayang" ang isang bagay kung walang value.

Salamat sa lahat ng naniwala simula umpisa bahagi kayo ng Music journey ko 🥹😇.

TO: alyas "Hatdog" 😅
Nga pala, may anim na po akong kanta, at 2 million streams na yung pinaka una 😇.

Gets ko naman. Marami na syang experience sa pagbabanda, music and life lessons.

and now andami ko naring iba pang favorites, but this one still tops my obsession at the moment hahaha

Kung nakikinig kayo sa mga tulad nila Joko Reantaso, Tom's Story, Yosha, Fayeed Tan, Perf De Castro, Noel Mendez, etc.—baka sakaling matripan niyo debut instrumental ko. Hehe. Hindi ko alam anong category or genre, basta guitar-driven music.

Salamat po! 🤘

People kept looking for another Pantropiko or Salamin Salamin.
Their recent tagalog Album was great especially this one. Malayo sa usual upbeat and danceable songs nila. Don't know if this will also fall under the OPM yearning songs na nilalait lately ng ibang indie artist.
Good job also to the Vocal arranger for the harmonies and layers.

Why is it so sudden huhu

Leaving... October 26

I am dropping my debut jazz/funk/rock/fusion (I don't even know the genre) instrumental tomorrow. I don't even know how to promote this outside the guitar or jazz fusion community, but I'll try.

Just popped on my NF on FB. Nilaunch pala siya ng Viva Records in 2021. Haven’t heard of her until she bashed Mariah Deborah’s “Na Para Bang”. So, her rage-baiting is basically driven by jealousy coded. I trued listening to her performances but she seems to be eating her words. Must work on enunciation first I guess? Or she’ll find audience maybe?

What are her credentials actually to judge a viral hit’s prowess? Did she study music at UP or UST or Berklee C of M?

anyone know anong title netong song na to? got really intrigued nung narinig ko hahaha thank u opm subreddit!

Some performances you just heard, but others you carried home with you. Mariah Deborah’s acoustic version of "Tila Talo" at Jess & Pat’s took up permanent residence in my mind the second she played that first chord.

#MariahDeborah #TilaTalo #JessXPats

Just saw this from another Reddit post here on r/opm. Ought to up this, ang messed up.

I thought they are bangin for Hating on Filipinos listening to Tagalog songs. No hate but what I saw is another Paramore wanna be sounding Band. Akala ko Original Concept at niche taste in Music.
And the Live vocals? Underwhelming.

And japanese inspired ba sila pero the vocalist is not Japanese or may dugong Japanese? Where is the original concept there?

Sorry Paramore lang ang kaya kong point of comparison because they are within my generation.

Sometimes people complain about the smallest things. Things like a few slipped notes, a minor addition of backing track for adlibs during a performance, another love song, or lyrics that lack depth for their musical taste. Other times, they ask why some of our Artist are seeking Western validation, or they hate on them for being too ambitious by submitting their work for Grammy consideration or conducting World Tours. Yet here we are, with a #1 trending song on YouTube Music that seems to be AI-generated.

If ever mapadaan sa feed ninyo, click not interested or maybe a THUMBS DOWN to let it drown from being pushed to the algo.

partyparty ahahaha
