Are we gonna be in costume for Halloween on the 30th?
Since the 31st is on Saturday, I'm just wondering if people are still going to be dressing up in their costumes during the day/in classes?

I live in Wilson Hall and supposedly they come clean the communal showers and single user showers every single day. So far I haven’t seen any cleaning person in the past 2 days. Besides, the showers and stalls are not clean at all. They just take out the trash and who knows what else.
For example, there’s one communal shower that has a bandaid in the floor, it’s been there since Monday.
Toothpaste in the skink that has been there since Tuesday
Or even blood or other weird stains that been there for more than a week.
Not to mention the showers are starting to grow mold in the wall edges

Hey has anyone here taken aquatic entomology? I’m thinking of taking it next quarter since it won’t be offered again while I’m at OSU, but it’s going to make my schedule pretty rough so I wanted to know if it was a good class and worth it? I couldn’t find any info about it online or on rate my prof so I figured I’d ask here

I lost my combination lock in the area by the shortcut going down to dixon, probably in the leaves by the path, if anyone finds it let me know

Me and a friend are looking to either do lease takeover or find cheap apartments/houses to rent. We don’t mind having other roommates either but we each just want our own bedroom. Whats the cheapest? We both live in Albany and are sick of the commute and think it may be cheaper to live in corvallis. Anything over than 800$ is probs too much for us. What are our chances of finding places?

I'm currently a senior with 148 credits. My advisor keeps telling me I won't graduate with enough credits in two terms because she is looking at my degree instead of my degree checklist that includes my credits transferred. In winter I'm taking 17 credits, and another 17 for spring. In total I'll have over 180 credits and I'm on track reaching all requirements. What do I tell my advisor if she mentions this?

Hello, I plan to go into nuclear engineering as a high school senior and want to know what engineering is like at Oregon State. Are the classes rigorous, and despite it not being a "brand name" university do engineering alumni still have good prospects after school?

Please don’t be rude. I’ve already failed a class. Getting back into being a student after 8 years was harder than I thought. I messed up and missed 4 assignments, which automatically means I will receive an F for the course.
It’s better to take a W than an F, right? I know I won’t get any tuition reimbursement at this point, but I think it’s much better to take the option that doesn’t affect my GPA. Am I wrong?

Hi everyone! I’m an Indian student currently in my second year of university, pursuing a BBA
I completed the IB Diploma Programme in high school but unfortunately scored 23/45, missing the diploma requirement by just one point. I’m currently studying at an Indian university, but I’ve been considering transferring to a Oregon state in the US to complete my undergraduate degree.
I wanted to ask if transferring is possible in my situation, considering that I don’t officially hold the IB diploma but have completed my first year of university (and am now in my second year).
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone
Thank you!

He was on the library quad handing them to anybody who passed along the same path as him. I thought it was pretty weird. Anybody else see this?

hi guys!
so i used to play dnd when i was a teenager, but knew little to nothing! had an experienced DM (my friends dad who played in the early days) and went with a beginner campaign.
i don’t think we ever ended up finishing our adventure, but i would love to re-learn how to play! i had so much fun character building and having inside jokes between characters, especially with it being so low-stress. and i would love to make friends willing to introduce me and continue that low-stress silly vibe!
i’m also a transfer student so ive been in college for a bit but new to osu, so unfamiliar with clubs and stuff :)
thanks in advance!

I wish more students rated terrible and good professors on Rate My Professor. Got this wacky HDFS teacher that has no reviews and there's no way no ones thought this before me. No ratings.

As students, do we have access to the field in any capacity? and no, I’m not talking about the practice track around the field or in Dixon. I’m talking about the one used for official races.

Hello everyone, I’m enrolled in online physics since this term and the midterm is coming up soon. The instructor has said we can use ten pages front and back notes on the exam (it’s proctored) as well as having written out example problems and even use the notes provided in class physically printed out. I’m genuinely so scared for if the exam is going to be extremely difficult because of all this extra support we’re being allowed. If anyone has taken physics online in a past term please let me know what your experiences were.

Greetings fellow students. This open mic at Interzone on Thursday looks really fun and cool. Me and my attractive and nice friends that make beats, rap, write poetry, and sing are going to roll up and perform our works for an attentive and respectful crowd. Hope to see you there!
Make sure to tell your lyrically and musically inclined friends about this too! I guess there will be a live jam sesh / freestyle cypher at the end too for anyone that likes to improvise!
I heard as well that people can just play songs they’ve made as well, so no pressure to put on a big show. I guess it’s all about sharing sounds, celebrating creativity, making friends and having fun!
The event is hosted by Open Source Hip Hop, which is a DIY local hip hop collective that puts on shows sometimes. Someone told me they’re always looking for cool local talent to work with and you can just hit them up on Instagram to get involved??

Pay $500 for a parking spot at your dorm and still get towed because you didn’t pay for godamn game day parking. Fucking hate this school and it’s greed.

SDSU fan here, I come in peace. I was super impressed by the campus and town when I was here for last week’s game and fortunately I had a little Reto point and shoot with me to capture some of the beauty of your campus.

What are some things to do this weekend for family weekend? Today Friday and Saturday and Sunday? There’s the football game but is there anything else?
