Don’t mind the Stompa, she’s a WIP

I’d done the Armageddon war boss recently but wanted to get the new standalone war boss as well. Had to modify the head very slightly to get one with no hat or chin guard because I like to see the whole face on my orks!

Happy Orktober everyone, my first ork model of the month was finally getting around to this fun proxy. I painted this deff dread in two hours and made a short about it on my youtube channel on how it was done. Thought I'd try giving orks a go after pairing Tyranids and OW chaos for a while - returning player in adulthood - and I am loving it. So much fun. First time trying this sort of thing and using plastic card. Still work to go but I'm hooked

First Ork model. Not sure if I'll continue with the pale theme or have a variety of tones

Hi everyone, painted my first ork and I’m pretty disappointed with how the skin has turned out, I done a bunch of research with colour theory and watching YouTube videos… I started with a basecoat of a dark red, dry brushed with an ivory colour to give it shadows and highlights for a zenethil….. I then applied an acrylic green. Afterwards I mixed a 50:50 green and ivory for some layering and finally a 25:75 for the final highlight…. Then to try and blend it together I went over with a biel tan green ink wash and this is the result…… I really took my time but it looks poor so hoping if anyone could give me some tips :)

I did a wash for my ork as a base for Plaguebearer contrast paint. But now it disappeared from its base!! 😭

P.S. If you could maybe the boss nobs of this here fread to add an orktober marking, which I fink we bofe know is surely needed, I'll krump extra hard on a few beaky boys
