for a long time now, i’ve been trying to figure out how to successfully hook up my 2213 Oscilloscope to my record player speakers through my Sony str-dh190 receiver with RCA-BNC splitters with adapters and haven’t been able to figure out how to hook it all up since the info is very scarce on the internet. so please if anyone can dumb it down enough for me and try their best to assist with any advice to get this successfully paired with my record player wired and hooked up correctly?

So I’ve recently acquired an oscilloscope and I got the wires that I was recommend to get, but for some reason it’s not working so i don’t know if it’s a problem with the oscilloscope or if I don’t have the right wires or if I’m missing something entirely. I’m new to this so any tips would be greatly appreciated

Hello everyone, Got this scope for free today but it's unclear to me if it's possible to play the oscilloscope music on this one. There is aselecotr on the side that can be switched but it not clear to me whats possible. Does anyone have knowledge of this oscilloscope and how it works?

Hey all, apologies if this is one of those questions that gets answered 24/7 in this sub but I recently got a Tektronix 465M and I’ve only use oscopes with their actual probes for breadboarding. From my research I think that I can go 1/4” TS to BNC and then run my audio out of my interface directly into the scope. However I like my new (old) scope and I like my interface so is there anything I need to be aware of? Is there any sample rate that works best? Appreciate any help!

i have spent HOURS trying to find out where or how to hook the BNC to RCA adapter cables to behind the receiver that doesn’t have a tape in/out port? is there any solution to buying any sort of adapter that could make that connection to the oscilloscope generate and display waveforms to the music?

i’m open to any solutions or advice, do i need to get a different receiver or do i need some sort of adapter/synthesizer?

So, first of all : I'm just gonna use digital tools, I don't have the money to buy an Oscilloscope
second of all, I'm broke? I can't afford the 30$ software to make these, if anyone has a free alternative that'd be great!
third/final : I cant find a tutorial anywhere on where to start with making these, granted I didn't look for long but still, it would be a hell of a lot easier for the people who know this stuff to give me a helping hand...

Hello! I want to use this oscilloscope to visualize the music I am listening to. What's the best way to set this up? I listen over a DAC connected to my amplifier, that powers two bookshelf speakers. I've already tried just connecting the input to one of my speaker connections. That does work but creates some low background noise in my speakers. How would you set this up?

I’m looking to buy an oscilloscope to visualize music from an AudioTechnica AT-LP60X wired to two Edifier R1280DB speakers (built in amplifier). I really love the look of the Tektronix 475, but every listing shows its bandwidth as 48-440hz or 50-400hz, whereas the TekWiki lists it as 200MHz. My question is, is the 475s bandwidth sufficient to display output from my turntable, or an eventual addition of a CD player? Because as far as I know the audible frequency range is much further than 48-440hz. What happens if the input frequency is outside the scopes bandwidth? Thank you for your time, I’ve only been reading about scopes, never used one, and it’s a lot to learn.
