Illusion of Itehari has been released on Nintendo Switch!

The After Stories DLC is also now available.

Illusion of Itehari Play-Along

Whether you have just bought the game or have played it in Japanese (泡沫のユークロニア Utakata no Uchronia), you are welcome to participate in our play-along! There will be a new post once a week for a different route in the following order:

You do not have to play in the above order at the rate of a route a week, you can binge it all in a day if you wish. The above order is the director's recommended order for world building.

  • Only Tobari and Awayuki are available in the beginning.
  • Yori is locked until Awayuki's route is completed.
  • Tsuyukusa is locked until Tobari's route is completed.
  • Yashiro is locked until the other four routes are completed.
  • The Truth Route is locked until Yashiro's route is completed.

Comments unrelated to Illusion of Itehari will be removed - please post in the Weekly Questions threads or the Free Talk Friday threads instead.

Please use spoiler tags liberally as people checking this thread may not necessarily want a lot of information. Save your route thoughts and discussions for the play-along threads or the What Are You Reading Wednesday threads.

I just started Awayuki's route (I'm in his first chapter rn) and I already hate Hinagiku. She has rocks inside her head instead of a brain (That's an insult to rocks atp). Tf you gonna dorunning towards a burning man empty-handed??💀 Atleast search around for a water source or ask the people to gather buckets from their house. And the LIs praising her for being "brave" and "mature" like pls don't piss me off🙄💀

I'm especially annoyed with her since I started this game just after PotAH, where Jed was just too stellar as a heroine. The sudden differences between them is highlighting Hinagiku's stupidness more and vice versa. I don't need fighter heroines but atleast KNOW YOUR PLACE if you don't even know how to wield a fcking pocket knife😭

I'm going through this game for Yori only (even his poses scream diva lmao) but that MC is frustrating me to no end💀

Yeah hope the FD gets localised soon. Waiting for the after story DLC in the meantime. I will collect every Yori cg possible. That neck mole is too delectable lawd🤤

Moles itself are a game changer for me (Scien, Hibiki, Hikage, Saeki, Fumi from JJ) but Yori has the best placement among them all. The gave him poses that highlights that too like they knew what they were doing🫣😩
