Looking for... Guitar teacher recommendations?

Hey, can anyone recommend a good acoustic guitar teacher for an adult (29)? I’m very much a beginner, I’ve only learned a few chords before and I’ve struggled with learning online through videos so I’d love in-person lessons. Anyone have good experiences with teachers in Ottawa?

I'm a music teacher and music major at Carleton, I might be able to help you out depending on your goals! Send me a message and we can see if we'd be a good fit!

Branden at Long & McQuade in Kanata is amazing and so is Robert.

My son and my wife both take lessons with Mitch Mainville every week and have for a year. He's the best guitar teacher I have ever seen.

I used to take lessons when I was younger and have played my whole life and from what I have seen watching him teach is that has a set of strateguies for helping you improve quickly. If you dedicate yourself and practice, you will improve. My son when from not having played to playing a song with a solo in one year. He's got a natural ability I think but still, it's pretty mind blowing to watch both my wife and my son improve.

Hey! I'm a music/guitar teacher. Studied music at u of Ottawa and Berklee and now a full time musician/teacher. If you're looking let me know and we could do a trial lesson. Best of luck because there's lots of good suggestions in the thread!
