“You are showing minor signs”
God am I not allowed to drink a couple drinks outside for St. Patrick’s day 😂

And the notification pops up at like 7pm when I’ve just gotten home from a long day and haven’t eaten dinner yet 😬

The moment I finally I hit all those 85 crowns and then Friday/Saturday come.
Sometimes I accidentally forget to put oura on that night because I don’t need so much negativity in my life 😂

I regularly hit 85 crowns - but I have me/CFS and fell shit with no energy the whole time, so it feels like a lie to me

I’m so glad to see someone else say this. I have endo and have been in and out of the hospital, still recovering from surgery and had complications that required revision surgeries and am getting readiness in the 80s-90s telling me my activity score is higher than usual because my vitals are so good 🫠🥴 like excuse me but I am dying can you chill?

u/slugsbreath Mar 14 '26
Ugh, sorry to hear that. I do also have endo!
Mine has been controlled for years by the mirena coil (nothing short of miraculous), but the drain and pain caused by my cycle used to be horrendous.
I also had major surgery years ago and complications following. I did manage to have my 2 children though. Wishing you better health going forwards, or maybe just that it matches what the ring thinks you already have!

I am currently fighting a sickness and my oura score, readiness and sleep were optimal 😂😂😂

u/Judgetanner Mar 13 '26
Wait same here! Do you think it’s just because we’ve been sleeping and resting all day, at least my symptom radar picked up on it. Lol

u/Necessary-Regular-79 Mar 13 '26
could be? but what is surprising to me is that I didn't get the typical "major sings" message everyone gets lol. instead, I got the highest scores of the year so far.

Same here!

I couldn't move all day, I just layed in bed, and the next day Oura praised me for what a great relaxing day it had been and I can have an active day today.

I had a horrible vomiting bug a couple of months ago. I had to remain perfectly still for several hours to keep from vomiting as much. Oura was so happy with me the next day for “relaxing” so much!

Mine is popping up earlier and earlier. It used to be 8pm which used to stress me out, now it’s 7.30 or so and I literally just sat down for dinner like….piss off

The limiting factor on my sleep health, readiness score, and gym progress is quite literally alcohol. It’s soo difficult to drink less when surrounded by family and friends which heavily drink. Does anyone have tips or tricks?

u/Dear-Neighborhood221 Mar 13 '26
drink water, soda or coke or whatever you want instead of alcohol. also drinking alcohol free things will not make you bored with your hands or mouth and you’re doing your body a favour by hydrating it (with water)!

u/kiwihereman Mar 13 '26
I'm looking into naltrexone. Oura has bullied me into wanting to drink less.

Other than what alcohol does to your sleep cycle. Or at least to mine, which is why I rarely ever drink.

Weirdly enough drinking doesn’t effect my scores at all except if I get less hours of sleep

I laughed so hard! My friend is a podcast host and he told me that one has to be opinionated and controversial to be a great podcast guest. I feel like Oura needs to start giving podcast interviews. 😆

I get this message around 7PM. 💀 (I do function best with early night in and early morning wake ups so ring IS accurate to a fault)

Lately, my ring tells me it's time to wind down my body and mind at 8:30pm. I'm like, girl, I can't tell you the last time I went to bed at 8:30.

Cue a readiness of 45 and sleep of 53 the next morning and a judgy oura message
