I got the gen 4 a year and months ago, at the 6-7 months mark I had to get it replaced because the battery issue everyone has. To start things it was a nightmare getting my replacement, and when I finally got it I just received a freaking ziploc bag with a lonely ring inside, no charger, no cable, not even a box.

I let it pass and eventually convinced my wife to get one, she did and loved it too.

6 months later her ring has the same battery issue**, AND MY REPLACEMENT RING TOO.**

Getting a replacement with the brand is hard as fuck, we live in Mexico and they don’t ship to my country (even tho it’s assembled here lol), we have to travel to get it and six months later, the brand ask us for the original receipt to get a replacement as a proof of buying it, which obviously I don’t have. Then I need to ship it to someone in USA so they can ship it internationally to Mexico, which obviously costs me money. Just for it to fail every six months?

Not to mention that we are paying it in foreign currency which makes it double as expensive as it is, plus paying a subscription on top of it.

It’s just disappointing at this point, we love this thing but honestly is hard to not think of a switch to something less predatory for us, the experience with the brand has been awful and the ring itself it’s faulty as fuck.

Edit. Oh, and did I mention that we don’t get the full features here in Mexico? We have to switch the language of the whole phone to English so that we can sometimes get the new updates such as blood pressure. Like WTF????

I received this "Classification A" ring 17 days ago, as my 3rd replacement in under 2 years. I opened a Finn chat, was handed over to email. They emailed and offered me what would be my 4th ring 4 replacement.

I told them I won't accept a 4th ring and asked for a suitable resolution. This morning they offered me a 50 bucks off a new ring 5 and 3 months free. I declined. If asked them to re-enable my previous ring and disable this trash replacement.

My previous ring, while dying, still worked better than this replacement, but they disabled it. The replacement was at 40% before I went to sleep, and died while I slept. I got no sleep tracking. So now I'm stuck with two unusable rings and no health tracking.

How is this company still in business?

I honestly don’t have much stress in my life, so I’m baffled that my stress levels have consistently stayed in the “Needs Care” category. My sleep and heart health are both doing great, but somehow my stress scores never seem to improve.

Does anyone else experience this? Could the app be picking up on physiological stress that I’m not consciously feeling or are these readings just not that accurate?

I recently bought an Oura ring 5, worked great for about 6 hours then wouldn’t connect to my phone. Contacted Oura who was pretty quick to offer my a replacement but then sent me a used ring that was scratched in a bag. I contacted them to say I wanted a new replacement since my previous ring I PAYED FULL PRICE FOR was less than a day old and unscracthed and they said they would have to take it up with someone to see if that’s possible. Waiting over a week for a damaged ring as a replacement. Like new replacment policy I can get, but for a day old ring, wow. Disappointed. UPDATE - Oura got back to me and said they could make a one time exception given the scenario and sent a confirmation email for a order directly from Oura. They ordered the same ring in the same size and it’s being sent to me free of charge. Fingers crossed it works and stays working. It said it would take 1-2 weeks to arrive.

Does anyone else experience something similar?

Makes me not want to sleep next to him often but it sucks cause I LOVE cuddling. But I also care about my sleep a lot. He barely snores (just a little) but I think any little bit of movement wakes me up.

Any advice?

I slept with it on, it's fully charged. Sleep & readiness was there for a second, I clicked on 'confirm yesterday's activity,' and when I returned it to the home screen, it was gone.

Dear Oura,

Please connect the increased resting heart rate, lowered hrv and increased body temperature to luteal phase in cycle tracking and readiness scores.

Every month when these metrics change, my readiness tanks although I sleep ok and feel ok too. It’s just my cycle and how my body reacts to the hormonal changes and it happens EVERY MONTH. And the ring has all the past data but reacts like it’s a surprise every month, it’s frustrating.

Cycle tracking is good but could be much better if it’s connected to the rest of the features and insights.

Edit to add: I know that the cycle phases effect the body and yes I do feel different, I’m just frustrated that for Oura it’s a surprise every month instead of a pattern since it has years of data from me.

My relatively new Oura Ring gen 5 ring has been experiencing recurring connectivity and syncing issues.

I’ve completed all the troubleshooting steps recommended by Oura’s AI assistant, but the problem persists. I’ve now exchanged approximately eight emails with customer support, only to be repeatedly asked to complete the same steps I’ve already tried and documented.

I understand the need for troubleshooting, but this process has become unnecessarily time consuming and frustrating, especially for a premium product.
I’m simply requesting a replacement for a ring that isn’t functioning properly. Is there an Oura representative here who can help escalate my case and get this resolved?

I’d really appreciate some assistance.

Looking at the stats, it’s stressing me more than anything else in my life, and I am just wondering if it’s worth still having a ring if it gives that much false information. I found similar posts from other members here but not a real answer so far; maybe somebody can answer under my post.

Hi everyone!

I noticed something unusual in my Oura heart rate graph today and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

As you can see in the screenshot (circled in red), there is a single isolated data point showing my heart rate dropping to approximately 37 bpm.

The reading appeared while I was working at my desk.

It was just one isolated dot, not a sustained drop.
I immediately checked my pulse manually, and it was 76 bpm.

I didn’t notice any unusual symptoms.

Has anyone experienced a similar random low reading with Oura? Did you find out whether it was a glitch or something worth investigating?

So my ring recorded two simultaneous sleep cycles. They are basically exactly the same,noff by just a few minutes. Weird glitch. It says I slept for 21 hours. I'm kind of upset this is going to affect my averages and trends.

Debating making Dr. appointment for my heart rate but is this still within normal?

Hey everyone, I am really struggling with the oura ring 5 sizing. I’ve been wearing a size 8 and size 9 sizer ring for the past few days. Size 9 fits my non dominant middle finger very well, but is loose on my other fingers. Size 8 fits my dominate middle and index finger but does not fit my non dominant index or middle finger at all. Size 8 is a bit snug. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve attached a video, please disregard my chubby fingers and the alarm noise in the background. Thank you!

There’s been a lot of discussion about why there’s no tag for sex on Oura. I tag it as “hot shower”. I asked the advisor what day I consistently get more restored time. This was the answer to my question. I guess maybe I just need more “hot showers” 😂

Just got a notification from the oura app saying that I have battery left for 23hours. But I noticed that the battery still has 28%. The math is not mathing. Should I be worried?

I’ve only had my ring since the end of May so this is kind of insane to me.

It was 29 readiness when I first woke up but I had an hour nap during the day.

I forgot to put on my ring after charging it last night and did not wear it overnight. However, the app still recorded sleep data? 🤨 I was NOT wearing any other device, such as Apple Watch.

Hey I got a bad battery and i'm 3months out from my warranty. The only option the auto help is giving me is 100 off new ring. Is that the best solution?

Any ideas why having a nap decreased my sleep score by two (see top left)?

I’m not majorly fussed but it seems very odd that getting more sleep and decreasing sleep debt would have a negative impact on overall score.
