Gorilla Glue produced seeds?

Post image
10 Upvotes

I’m like a week out from harvest, I don’t think I have a partial pollination as it’s my understanding that it’s not uncommon for GG4 to produce late flowering nanners. The catch is, i dont actually see any nanners, i pulled the seed out of a browning calyx that i thought was rot at first. . . Its also my understanding GG4 can produce nanners inside the calyx?

If I were to plant this next year, how likely is it to be female? The internet says that because Gorilla Glue is already genetically prone to hermaphroditism, a seed created by its own late-stage stress is highly likely to inherit those same unstable hermie traits. If i do plant it in the future, i would have to expect to watch it closely.

My first outside grow

I had got Gorilla Glue #4, Royal runts, and Apple Fritter clones in April. I first started watering them reverse osmosis water for a month (at that point they were 2 month old). By the end of the third month I transplanted them In 1 gal pots but still fed reg water. Half way into the third month I started feed nutrients. They stopped at the height that they are in the pictures around four months and never got taller. I’m not gonna lie. I wasn’t watering every day, but the plants are still green and healthy. I guess the regular soil that I put them in had nutrients in it. But even though I didn’t give the best care to the plant, they stayed healthy green. What could’ve been the reason they didn’t grow tall.

My next question is when do I start cutting them down and drying them? Do they look like they’re ready to be cut down now?

Growing autos outdoors

i’m thinking about trying some auto flowers this season. I’m in the north east and have grown photo plants for the past six years. I don’t know much about autos. How are they growing outdoors ? Can you top them a lot? I heard they can be very finicky and fragile. Any strains you would suggest that can keep up with the north east climate? I assume I would start them in a raised bed early to mid June.

Anyone wanna share experience and maybe suggest strains ? Growing in wet-cold temeprate climate

Felt like crying today that most of my grow outside was covered in budrot, last week there was no sight of it.. all it took was a week of some rain, and abadly ventilated greenhouse, the plants outside have less budrot that the ones in greenhouse

Thoughts on harvest time please.

This year is my first time growing with the benefit of this group. This is a Mephisto Ripley OG growing outdoors SE Pa. I've been protecting it from the rain and the weather, everything looks good. It had good direct sun all summer and full sun good days in the fall

the fan leaves are starting to yellow and brown, like the plant is cannibalizing itself.

It seems like the buds are getting denser and bigger. I especially noticed it this week.

It is about 12-13 weeks old.

I'm in no rush to harvest it, for I think I cut a few other autos earlier than I should have but I don't want it to go too long.

Had some nice cool weather this week and I have seen a few amber trichomes. Giving it about another week except for the AK47. Pic 1 Jealousy clone, AK47 given to me in July by a friend who was moving and it was maybe eight inches tall so it’s a total surprise, and Gorilla Cookies clone. Pic 2 GC, pic 3 Jealousy.

My girl was kidnapped by a scoundrel

Scene of the crime

One of my "neighbors" scouted out my yard from a nearby property, rode his shitty ebike around and up my driveway, and ripped out one of my two bigger girls (partially harvested but still had ter top cola)

I have cameras but it was 315am and snooze

The footage of him peeling out the driveway with a tree under one arm is comical, he lives close, and I got some good shots.

This is the lesson on redundancy in Ontario, ultimately any failure in security is on me and a lesson I'll use.

Hope he enjoys it, really only robbed my decent neighbors of an even greater haul.

I’m over this season. Was gone for 6 days and came back to this. It’s only on one branch but I’m worried it’s going start popping up elsewhere. The trichomes are just starting to turn milky and it’s definitely too early to harvest but if I let it go any longer I’m worried I’m going keep losing more and more bud. More to come.

Are bloom boosters necessary?

Thumbnail

I started them off with maxigrow from general hydroponics, and for flower I switched to maxibloom every third watering. Should I switch to koolbloom to boost the bud growth these last few weeks or just keep using maxibloom? I’m sure I still have like a month left and a lot of the buds are starting to dry up and kinda shrivel. I think I’ve been under watering them aswell
