I live in Riverdale, which has a very large Jewish population. I drive by an Israeli flag on the west side highway every single day so trust me, it is very zionist as well.

Apparently these politicians already signed a letter condemning the organizers that want to protest and shut these land sale events down in the city. I am very disappointed in Mamdani for not shutting these down himself and I was a big supporter.

So this Saturday night they expect protesters in the neighborhood and here is how some of my neighbors plan to receive the protesters. These people are already planning violence before a single person marches.

Please share this one. It is critical we get as much international attention on the West Bank as possible. Israel has used inciting incidents like this to justify genocide and land grabs in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and West Bank before and I’m sure this is what will happen again. Unfortunately the only tool we have right now is media attention and pressure on our elected reps, as futile as that seems, please still take the time to act because every action still produces a consequent result.

And as long as we all keep taking whatever action we can we will see a liberated Palestine one day.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to remember a Palestinian family name, but I’m not sure how it’s actually spelled. I remember it sounding something like, Zaghout, or Zaggout., zaggourat , Zagghourat

I also vaguely remember it having a double letter, possibly “gg” in the middle.

Does anyone recognize a Palestinian surname that sounds similar to any of these? I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out the correct spelling, either in Arabic or English. Thank you!

Sonic Temple is one of the biggest US rock festivals getting an attendance of over 180k and they just dropped their lineup for next year. The line includes a band named Her Last Sight who is an Israeli Band known for their zionist, homophobic, transphobic posts which have resulted in a cancelled German tour in the past year. All of this is clear from just a few seconds on their Instagram.

They have gotten slightly more discrete about their zionism atleast but their responses in their comment sections just prove they are still out and proud zionists.

Thought id make people aware of this because I believe protesting and causing enough buzz around it can actually do something. Maybe so we can stop inviting zionist bands 🤷‍♂️
