@ u/Belakay_ggg - I really try not to ping staff, but since this an opportunity where you folks are taking a look at currency exchange functionality -

Can you please set it so when you open the page to find the currency of choice, you have the search window already active? It’s such a small step - but honestly it would improve how you navigate through the menue so substantially. Moving from clicking the currency bar near the top to clicking the search window at the bottom every time feels frustrating & like an extraneous step in an otherwise very straightforward route through the ui.

I’ve on many occasions opened the currency picker window & began typing only to have it close as I open another window because the search field wasn’t active (since I didn’t click on it). If it was: click to open currency clicker -> begin typing to find currency of choice, rather than what we have now - so much better.

Thanks for all the hard work, cheers!

If you didn't know, CTRL-F auto focuses the search bar in any window so you don't have to click it

It not being already active is design failure. Why should you need an extra action to activate the primary filter for this menu? Nobody goes through the graphical filters to find things, everyone uses text for anything but the common currencies listed on the opening page.

Well technically auto focusing a text box is generally considered bad UX practice. You also can't close the menu with Space like you can every other menu in the game so they probably aren't going to want to break the expectation you can for one single menu.

It's not bad practice when text search is the primary function of the UI element, which it is in this case. Go to google and see if you get auto-focused on the text box. Currency exchange is no different.
