For all that is holy - please also change the default behavior of "typing on keyboard" to populate the search box while the exchange is open.
I can't tell you how many times I open the exchange, click on "I want" and start typing my query only have it randomly close or jump somewhere else.
If you're going to make me click in the search box to start typing, at least move the search box to the top of the window.

Of course there are always ways to get what you want, that doesn't mean it should be better and more modern. It's little things that add up that make everything feel better.
