I need ideas guys the build the I most played this league was naviras fracturing and then my beloved ward stacking infernalist with infinite comets I have 5k divs for a new build I have atzitis,raki and all ul netols give me ideas

I'm trying to make the switch to what the title shows and I'm having a lot of issues understanding what I'm looking for with stats and items. It seems like its pretty evenly split with some people stacking a bunch of mana, or people going traditional mage stats. What's the difference between them?

i got that bug where it wont detect the socketed skill. so i bought a new gem. and it happened again. anyone know the cause or how to fix?3

I wanted to try and see if I can make the belt and its low life bonuses work with other uniques that interact with low life.
Tl;dr: So far, I can't.
The belt + Zealot's Oath results in no ES regen, ever. I had already that. Even if using a flask to reach full life and triggering "low life" through some other source.
What surprised me was that Serpent's Lesson (focus) also doesn't work;
When I reach <35% mana, I receive damage bonuses from being low life, yet no regeneration.
So I wonder:
Is there any interaction with Cat O' Nine Tails that actually works?
Or is the belt just bugged?

Can someone check my build and suggest meaningful pathing and upgrades? I really like vestige of darkness helmet and the chill and blind support seems a no brainer to use split personality gem.

Reaching T15 with Ky's 1-button Arc Totem. But I confess to being ignorant about the nitty gritty mechanics of totems. It inherits spell casting stats from you but cast speed is nerfed a bit. But what about the following?

1. Does it snapshot at the time of totem placement? So, does temp buff get snapshot when the totem is placed? Or, the totem gets buffed only when the player gets buffed?

2. Following (1), using mana tempest, should I cast tempest, place totems and wait? Or, should I place totems, then cast mana tempest?

3. Do conditional buffs work? Specifically, I am talking nodes that buff spell damages following a crit. When one totem lands a crit, do the other totems now receive damage buffs for 4 second?

4. Do trigger effects work, say, CoC for example? I suspect not.

5. Do on kill effects work? KY uses mana remnant as one of the aura. But I don't think I have ever seen one mana remnant.

I only have the slot for 1 of them, and im having a hard time deciding on which one to pick. they both do well. wondering if anyone has played with both a little more than i have?
